The first half of the game was very even, second half went from dull to extremely exciting.
I for one is really glad that Uruguay won. (even if there was so questionable referee decisions...)

This referee must be really proud of himself now...
But, we lost and we must accept it, at least there will be the fun of hearing all the comments on the match.
The worst part is that now the focus will shift again to politics and let me tell you, it's not really appealing to hear the same news every day.

Ok, let's face it, the 4 teams that got through in groups A and B are stunning.
C and D? Compared to that?
Italy? Deservedly out. No goal in 2 games -> out.
England? ONE point in 3 games?
COSTA RICA?
URUGUAY?
At least we know there will be a South-AMerican team in the Semis now.
I hope it will be Colombia. Would make ddoe a great lol factor.

The referee made 2 major mistakes:
First he didn’t give penalty for Uruguay at fifty something minute when Cavani was held in the penalty aria.
Second he didn’t send off Suarez. This guy has real cannibalism issue.  The referee didn’t see the situation but the linesman should’ve warn him about it.
About Marchisio's red card. No doubt here – textbook red card. Marchisio didn’t play for the ball, kicked Arevalo’s knee with bottom part of the shoe (the buttons) so red card imo

It was a penalty for me.
And Italy lost, because they give to much work on their defense. They played for 0:0. That was a mistake.
The guy also let them play more then 5 minutes at the end. Much more.

One more thing. Do you thing that Suarez did it for nothing? Maybe there was a provocation. We all remember what Zadane did on the final 2006, and it was a provocation. This, ofc., doesn't mean that Suarez did the right thing.
