why is it that when people complain about the lack of women or the bad portrayal of women in Heroes, people respect their opinion but when it's the exact opposite, like me, complaining about how the game is feministic in general, people go nuts?
Yes, I've seen quite a few feminists complaining about how Isabel was portrayed in a bad way in Vanilla and that she's a bad representation of women.

I think people who complain how a virtual person is treated in a horrible medieval world are aiming at the wrong target.
It's cool that gender matters to you, and I'm sorry you'd a bad experience because of it. I just don't think it's a situation a lot really can put themselves in.
Also there's a difference between bashing a lack of females and bashing there being to many females. The first comes of as a concern, the other comes of as hating. It'd be easier to follow if you were asking for more sausages in stead.

Strong females have come in fantasy more and more, because nowadays it makes sense to people - it makes for a more believable setting and frankly more interesting one too. We don't need to go back to the times where ladies were just damsels in distress, would be boring as snow.

if you count the number of fighting women in the world and compare them to fighting men, what difference do you get?

Was Heroes 5 created by feminists? Really? Which feminist would accept such creatures as images of women?
About last mission of ToE campaign - I was not surprised Freyda is main Haven hero as she was generally main and I didn't like Duncan as he seemed to be only a secondary hero. But I was surprised that Kujin fought instead of Gotai - it WAS weird.

Just see Hayven's post, it sums the whole argument up very nicely.
Of course Heroes isn't run by a bunch of man hating, evil plotting, fat lesbian feminazi's. Because there is no way they would include the above images. Their game would be centered more around the mass murder and genocide of all males. A game of heroes purely for militant women to murder male characters in various diabolical, heinous and violent ways.

Ok. I'll be right back after I've washed them then.
But maybe it's getting too spammish..? I mean these topics are rather special, because I think they're already on the verge of VW from the moment of creation due to a very.. special outlook in the OP, so I guess no one will get really pissed about it. Okay, ...!

Every game with some good reputation tends to get slashed by the feminin-whip if it lacks female characters.

why would I? That's one reason why I hate feminists. They force movies/games/etc to shove females down our throats. In Heroes 5 alone, it's obvious Ornella, Kujin to an extent and Freyda were only there just to increase the number of women in the campaign, just so feminists will leave them alone.
Isabel was redeemed by a stupid, child-thought out twist that the evil Isabel was Biara all along. I mean, have the balls to portray women in a negative light for once.
I mean, admit it. The once sympathetic queen of the Griffin Empire, turned crazy by Markal then becoming a full-pledged mad queen = great character development. Sort of like Arthas from Warcraft.
The biggest problem is the double standard. You have people like them complaining about the lack of women in games wherein the female population hardly play on those games, people respect their opinions. You have me who complains about the feminization of a great game, I get hated for it.

i don't hate you. you're entitled to your discontent. there're aspects of the entire human race that piss me off.
one thing i never understand about racists, sexists(not saying you are one), whoever; is that they seem to channel their hate into one group, and try to focus on just that. i could never see focusing on just one group, when every group(and indeed, every individual) has traits that i cannot begin to identify with or even relate to; or traits that i despise outright.
the question i ask, is... WHY segregate hatred?
i cannot relate in the segregation aspect, because my hatred(among many other things) doesn't have boundaries. it points in any and all directions, for a multitude of reasons.
