In hindsight I wish we started a seperate discussion between politics in the US and the current elections because while the elections are a part of politics in the US I really feel with the current extreme situation I have taken away from your space to have a greater range of discussion. I am not exactly blaming myself but, honestly I wanted to start an elections thread. Threads with me as OP however never tend to go well or last for some reason.
In any case this fiasco should be over soon and I hope y'all come back to discuss general politics in the US. sorry sorry

you know what's funny about that collapse video, is that i thought as soon as i saw it that it was a fake; since you only see her from behind, and her hair's all wrong. the video definitely looked to me like it was set-up, and not genuine in the least.
but this other stuff, i wouldn't know. the collapse video is certainly bullsnow, tho.
Of course, why would it be anything else? The government just cannot stop making lies even when it makes no sense to do so. It is a good thing they are such good sports, and always are leaving pointless clues behind so we can always know the twuth.
Seriously though, why? Why would they fake Hillary falling into a car; there is no benefit. The only thing it does is make it look like Hillary is in bad health; which is just going to lessen chances people vote for the already unpopular candidate. Also, no, "I am sure they have their reasons", is not an answer.

that reminds me, i never did bother to check out the original video. if there is one, anyway. at this point, i'm completely behind the times as to what's going on in politics; as far as face value, anyway. the deeper stuff i have a better understanding of.
@ celf: don't apologize. even if the information is questionable, it pertains to u.s. politics. the information put out in the news is questionable/controlled, regardless.
People see what they want to see. If you want to see a conspiracy you will see one, even if it defies what would be logically reasonable. That is the foundation of superstition.

Exactly. It's also found that, although education decreases such tendencies significantly, it is more about the psychological need to feel in control when you are not. After catastrophic events such as earthquakes, belief in such plots rise significantly. I witnessed this personally after the big quake in 1999 here, tens of thousands died and suddenly masses started talking about America or Israel (you pick!), sending hidden waves with a secret weapon that causes landslides and so on... It was like a collective malfunction of common sense.
Nah she collapsed. That's 100% sure. I doubt that video is of a staged collapse. The whole defense and her "I'm okay now" appearance is in response to that videos spread.
Anyways the Wikileaks did come out the other day with more to come but this release was underwhelming. I'm losing hope in the existence of one claimed that the FBI cannot over look.

If I were at a rally my camera would focus on the main stars entrance but hey maybe I am from another planet and these people in the crowd here prefer to record the backs of heads and a wall.

You took it way too literally, fred. Of course, nobody gets in charge by believing in conspiracies, the reason this tendency is researched as a flaw is, it's not a functional response but rather an emotional reaction. Did you read the article, people from all political views believe in them but they all pick different conspiracies depending on who they blame for the current situation. Rather than taking control, they are instead "showing them" that they cant be fooled and mind-controled by the authorities! "I'm not buying your lies Obama/Bush/Clinton/Putin, in your face, ha ha!"
I'm not saying one should trust authority, on the contrary, I live in a place where you never trust authority, and on justified grounds. However, believing internally inconsistent urban myths which are not practical or even directly fruitless for the assumed insiders (and those insiders are always an ever expanding circle) is not a rational reaction, it's an emotional response. Of course, there are some believers who are plain morons but mostly, conspiracy believers are not significantly stupid. Yet, the motives mentioned in the article clouds their judgment and they even believe the type of stuff you can refute even without fact checking, simply by common sense.
Take Noam Chomsky for example, he's one of the most outspoken critics of the American government, he even called your (and his of course) government "the biggest terrorist organization." But when conspiracy theorists approach him, he evaluates the situation like any reasonable person would do, put aside his intellectual formation: Link. It's really not something hard to see.

@ artu: but i have no agenda, other than to try to get people to not just blindly accept what they hear and see in the media, and especially put out by the authorities. calling someone a conspiracy theorist(if that's what you're doing) is simply mud-slinging, when the stuff we speak out against(not the lizard-people snow, or ufo's or whatever; but when corruption and mass-manipulation is running rampant) is absolutely applicable, and very real.
as for the video i mentioned, it comes across as too synthetic. it's obviously staged, and i have no idea why. but just because i don't know why, doesn't automatically deny the staged nature of the video. you don't have to be a professional to see what i'm talking about with that.

The lies are almost every day now. They are dumb liars at this point. They can't even get away with a fake appearance on green screen because of the camera phones. How stupid do you have to be to stage an appearance and have people with their camera phones in front row recording a different scene?
No ones dumb but the failures setting the stage.
It is really sad that caught in so much fraud they will do it again and again and again.
edit I nave realized that the Hillary campaigne has gotten away with staging a rally
