It depends in which country they live. In certain countries, women are treated like absolute snow. In others, they are indeed sometimes targetted in a negative way, but they are also over protected and with more rights. I know I've been through some tough snow in my life that I wouldn't have gone through if I was a woman instead of a man, not to mention a woman can get justice without even reporting to the police, just go in a bar, tell your pitiful story and baam. Your tits got yourself a drunk army.
I know in Canada the benefits they have far outweight this supposed extra snow they have. Whenever you listen to a feminist, just hear her out and see if she's talking about women rights in poor countries or if she's trying to compare herself to other minorities, cuz let me tell you, they aint a minority, not when they re already a majority and you add to that all the guys listening to their cocks and taking women sides automatically.

there are a lot of good points on both sides of the discussion here. i think it is important for posters on both sides to see each other's perspectives, because together they paint the entire picture that represents the reality of this topic.

Oh, please, fred, just STOP the crap - there are not good points on both sides, since there are no two sides. Or what is the supposed second side's POSITION is supposed to be? That feminism is evil women trying to talk gullible men into having a bad conscience by drastically exaggerating the actual inequality?
If you were a woman: would you take the supposed equality - or better: what Man considers as such - as a handout from your handlers/oppressors or would you fight for YOUR idea of it, hopefully a FULL equality?

do we hear much about feminists who try to defend really oppressed women?
I think there is a petition from time to time, but I didn't really notice much more (and I'm not sure they are even feminists). I was under the impression that the main feminist movements were about western women.
Quote: I can assure you one thing though. If it were women treating their men this way, arranged marriages at the age of 8, raping men, setting them on fire or throwing acid over them, beating them and stoning them to death (publicly and like rabid gang of baying wolves) and just oppressing them in every aspect of their lives - you can be darn sure the Western Governments would have done a hell of a lot more to stop it.
I don't think governments care more about men than about women. western government primarily care about money and power imo. and it happens that money and power are mainly owned by men, so these men receive a lot of attention.

The problem is this guy almost never asked a woman out and got refused the times he did. You can be sure he has no kids, he already admited he is a virgin.
He isn't trolling like Meroe says, he insists on this points cause he wants society to reinforce (even more) his secret will to abuse the women or to have their fathers delivering them to him based on some costume.
And this forum is the place he found to put out all his frustrated feelings and somehow be eared, he is a sicker version of Dracon-Deus one year ago. Hell, this can even be considered therapeutic (to him, cause it affects my digestion).
aah. you just know you win the debate when it goes down to emotional, personal attacks in which you don't even know the person.

Yes, and let me remind you that 53% (or around that) population of the US is female. Hence, companies need to please women to keep their jobs.
It's women who are keeping these men in power.

do you refer to what I previously said?
Quote: This can be seen by the ideology’s produced outcomes – one of which is the reduction of the social power of the family unit as a fundamental unit of society. By isolating individuals from the social support of traditionally strong family framework, this has rendered our culture much more pliable to top-down social control. Another is the reduction of the economic value of labor by the doubling of the available labor pool. This was sold to a credulous mainstream under the guise of giving women the “right” to work.
actually both men and women are responsible for keeping some people in power.

aah. [edited out] that third reply in a row. I don't care about my post count decreased.
Anyway..
@mvassilev - if feminists care about men NOT being drafted, give me any citations wherein feminists are actually working on men NOT being drafted (or other men issues like family court cases or prison sentence).
And no, the vote wasn't just granted to men. They were allowed to vote because they were drafted. I've explained this to you over and over again. Please tell me what you don't understand here. I really want to educate you on this specific matter.
@Jolly Joker
LoL. The dog analogy is kinda funny because I know what you're trying to prove but I actually like dogs. A lot of them feels comfortable to me for some reason. And by the way, I don't see anything wrong in that analogy. If the dog is a doberman, then the owner should know better. If it's some friendly dog like a Golden Retriever or a Labrador then there's absolutely nothing wrong with your analogy at all.
Girls can't abuse their boyfriends? Really? You should watch this.

Yes, the man can fight back if he wants but there are a lot of things to consider such as:
- white knights jumping to the woman's rescue regardless of whose fault it was.
- cops arresting the man regardless of whose fault it was.
Ok, I have one female friend in my life that was abused. I advised her to call the cops or just break up with him but she won't because she loves him too much. Lesson learned? If you decide to stay with the abuser, it's on you. You can't tell the world about how sucky your life has been because you yourself decided to stick with the abuser.
And plus the fact that we have something called the cops, women really have no reason to pity themselves when they're abused. The cops would arrest the man even without proof.
I know a lot of women who take advantage of this system. Disagree with a woman or dare to defend yourself when a woman keeps hitting you, you go to jail. My mother was one of them (the one who took advantage of the system). You should also watch one of MrRepzion's video. He's a youtuber. He was accused of false rape allegations by a woman. He specifically said "knowing how bias the system is for the women, I kept a record of all our emails". That was the thing that got him out. My point is women don't even need proof to accuse a man of rape or wife/girlfriend beating.
Well, what we're talking about here is not the oppressors but the oppressed. Men are apparently smart enough to NOT think "for their gender" as feminists put it.
What am I talking about here? Around 53% of the population is female. Aside from that, there are white knights and Social Justice Warriors also catering to women's needs.
So, these men in position wouldn't care about serving their fellow men, they care about what would keep them their jobs. And that is to please women and all those who's looking out for women.
Are you really making any points here? It's simple, actually: if you are a man and you want to have sex and get it - make sure you can't impregnate the woman you have it with. Because if you do - well, you have kind of a problem, because, obviously, it makes no sense to try and force the impregnated to do something she doesn't want.
Can that be so difficult?
Nope, nothing's difficult. I got all that. That's what I've been trying to say all along.
And by the way, you proved my point.
All rights go to the women while all obligations go to the men.
Not a very equal thing now is it?
I don't get your stance on rape. Rephrase it please.
And I need your citations on middle eastern men beating up their wives for having different opinions please.
Lastly, the purpose of the debate, which is not just my problem but everyone else's problem, is the feminist's over exaggeration of female victimhood. And now that you brought it up, feminists' double standards and hypocrisy too.
MOD EDIT: Do not bypass the language filters.

prefer what? Can you quote it?
Yeah, I agree to this to some degree. However, if given a difficult choice, I think the government would choose the ones who have the real power. Women. I mean, power isn't just the people who are in control. It could also be the people who are keeping them in control, you know what I mean?
Hey have you heard Obama's recent speech? He blatantly said "women are smarter than men". Yeah, I know he probably meant "more women are liberals" in Obamish but point is, it's clearcut ass kissing. I mean what's the point of saying that? Plus Obama would never say "men are smarter than women" even if there are more male liberals than female. (wanna bet?) He's also alienating liberal men who wouldn't take snow from sexism.

don't forget the things jj said in the thread where a 10-year-old boy was publicly molested by a female while everyone who witnessed cheered:
fred79 said:
JollyJoker said: Even if you take this at face value and do NOT assume that someone was paid to do this to help making a point I don't see - isn't the problem that everyone (in the bus) has fun watching things?
And what do you think, why could that be?
Consider the opposite situation: a young male harassing a 10-year-old girl that way.
What do you think - everyone having the same fun? And why could that be?
Now, what is the website saying you link to?
It says, that we should stop focusing on male sexual predators, but have a good look at the females, since there are as many.
What they are ACTUALLY saying is, that things have been wrong from the start, because the problem aren't men raping women, but sexual predators of both genders raping people.
With the consequence that the poor men are harassed while the women are getting encouraged for the same behavior.
Would you say that is a correct picture of the situation?
JollyJoker said: A Voice for Men - what a bunch of losers.
i find these quotes to be mighty relevant in a thread where so many people aren't seeing what j-mo is trying to get across. like i said, both sides of this discussion have some very good points.

LoL at JollyJoker bashing AVFM. I mean, I'm not a member but I go to their site frequently to keep myself updated.
You're welcome to tell me why you think AVFM are losers JJ.
ANd no, I'm not an MRA. I'm a MGTOW. I'm not part of any group.
By the way, I've also been trying to find a really good reason to like feminists. I keep an open-mind with them, really. However, all I'm seeing is a bunch of whiners and snowing and destroying my favorite games and movies and most of their points are borderline crazy. You have rape but they over exaggerate it. They think rape is the greatest crime a person could ever make. Yes, even worst than the mass homicide of 10,000 people. Not to mention some of them actually want to hurt or kill men. And not one single official statement of the "good feminists" disassociating themselves with the misandrists.

I wont get into all this "they are not oppressed because they are protected in a fatherly manner" non-sense, since that is exactly what feminists are objecting against; women being treated like a child instead of an individual with their own options and initiative. Feminists don't object to some social norms because men don't love them, they object to a social hierarchy. Trying to ignore that social hierarchy with some argument such as "but we have to act like a gentleman and they don't" is like the Chris Rock joke in which he targets white people complaining about not being able to use the N word, while black people can:
- Okay, I have an offer, you can say N***** all you want, and I will raise interest rates!
It is also a moot point because you don't have to act like a gentleman if you don't want to, you can act like a dick all you want, let's face it, you treat women the way they want to be treated because you WANT TO be with them, it's your choice with an alternative. You also still have the choice to find a woman of a more traditional mindset like yours, who may enjoy to serve her husband in an old-fashioned way, cook for him, clean for him... whatever. It is the ones that feel uncomfortable in that role who annoys you, because you think they are stepping over the line, and why exactly, because there are too many female Elf characters in some game or snow like that?!
I am just wondering if I got you right on the pregnancy issue. Are you seriously trying to claim that if this "equality hoax" would be sincere, women would have been also supporting the rights of men to have their say (not as an opinion but as a right) when it comes to keeping a child or not? Do you think if we impregnate a woman and if she doesn't want to keep the baby, we should have the RIGHT to say "no, you will give birth because it's my child, too." The very peculiar situation about pregnancy being unique to women and something that happens to occur IN THEIR BODY is of no importance to you?

Wow what a pile of misogynistic vomit and bile.
Boo hoo, we now have to share responsibilities with women, our jobs, our wages, our rights ..... ohhh boo hoo for me. Its not fair to share.
Oooh boohoo for men that they aren't allowed to beat their women anymore and get arrested for domestic violence. And even worse, boo hoo that women now might take a hand to us guys. I mean pound for pound we know that women can't pack that much of a punch compared to guys, but boo hoo those scratches 'weerry hurt me'
Ooh boo hoo that women want a voice in the running of our country now, instead of not worrying their pretty little heads over things us big boys had total control over before. Ohh boo hoo, and she must be a snowing dyke if she does a better job than us.
Ooh boo hoo that women want to work, so they don't have to rely on us to provide for them anymore, thus taking away our control of them. Oh boo hoo.
Ohh boo hoo that Western Governments finally saw the light and outlawed 'marital rape'. Oh boo hoo.
Ooh boo hoo that we can't lust over the young girls any more. We can't say that pinning a young girl to the wall, while groping her and trying to force her into giving us guys sexual relief, is nothing but a bit of 'harmless fun' anymore. Ohh boo hoo.
Oohh boo hoo that the courts now grant our ex-wives a substantial amount of our income and property and not leave her with nothing, after supporting us for years, baring our children and stagnating their own careers.
Ooh boo hoo that those awful dyky feminists want to stop prostitution and the sexual exploitation of women and human trafficking. Don't they realize that prostitution is the oldest profession!! And I want the right to be able to jack off watching porn online, regardless of the situation the girl being filmed might be in.
Oohh boo hoo that thanks to feminism and women's suffage, the west now has greater access to education than ever before (for both sexes); that women are now allowed to make decisions regarding their own fertility (contraception); that women are closer to equaling men regarding wages; that women can actually divorce her husband autonomously.
Ooh boo hoo that feminism made men responsible for their actions and helped reform much needed laws regarding child sexual abuse/incest etc.
JE, I have no idea what you have your knickers in a twist about, but you are/have been misled. If you are not a troll, you would educate yourself instead of focusing on a few radical feminists who have done the equal rights movement a major injustice. Just like you men, there are women out there who are arrogant, ignorant and hate the opposite sex.
However, in reality men have nothing but themselves to blame. Men have ruled this planet now for far too long, his way with him center stage and only him in control. He has purposefully denegrated the female sex, passed laws to control her for his own needs and shortcomings, belittled her intelligence and ability to reason. Now he has to learn to share, because there is no place for thugish silverbacks in a modern society.
PS. In regards to the female on male abuse. Yes I know it happens. And like any abuse, I find it vile and criminal. Whether its a man abusing a women, or a women abusing a man - its the same in my eyes. However, until recently this situation was almost never heard of. No doubt it happened. But unless the woman has a gun/knife or vehicle, the amount of damage she can do is still nothing compared to the injuries a women suffers at the hands of a male. And considering that women being physically abused by men so far outweighs men being physically abused by women, statistically makes it almost negligible. Physical abuse and beatings are a criminal offence regardless of sex. Your bringing it up, as if to say "Look!! Look at all the awful beatings a woman can give a man", is quite honestly a little pathetic.
