It's purple, shiny, and insectoid. Arachnoid? Whatever. Strider confirmed.

Isn't it the crystal spider, the boss version of the Moonsilk Spider ?
It's not a construct.

It's the crystal spider but not sure how it's related to the moonsilk one. Looks pretty different. Just saw it and thought of strider.

I was trying to channel my humor. Guess I can't do that very well.

Oh, I hope Strider will be closer to an insectoid than to a golem. Another construct would be extremely uninspiring and just... boring.

Question.

How does hiding votes help solve anything? We won't know the percentages, but I don't think this will stop "accounters" from spamming votes to secure their pick. Or am I missing something?

No, but the cheaters won't know if they've done the job good enough or not, which might exhaust them when they don't see any percentage. Also, it won't make people change their vote based on a second best alternative that has a bigger chance of winning than their primary pick.

Either way, I guess Ubisoft will count the votes at the end anyways just to be sure.

We're talking about "people" who go out of their way, wasting time to create accounts just to influence some silly votings. Yeah, they'll get exhausted alright

At least they won't see any progress, and we won't whine about cheaters.

Well, seeing the percentage rising as effect of your cheating can work encouraging I guess. So if you take away that encouragement they might have less motivation to cheat.

Yeah it was weird to show the percentage in the first place.. this is better. But I am not a fan of voting for line-ups the way I like voting for factions - that is a good vote imho. We get the factions we wanna play the most.

well, I think cheating is a vital necessity. People who cheat are usually people who knows how to balance the game.
Fans don't know what's best, let's face it. Blackhole proved that. The Dungeon voting proved that.

I think cheating should be allowed, otherwise, if there's another important vote, fans will just destroy the game.

Look, I'm not going to argue the point about "popular opinion is not always the best because people don't know what's good for them" (I sometimes feel the same way), but saying that cheating is a necessity for balance? Huh?
