I'll just be glad when we're done with this voting, and hopefully get more information about Academy, Stronghold and Necropolis.

18%. You got to admire the cheaters commitment though.
It doesn't necessarily mean that they are cheating, it might just be that a lot of people are changing their votes from Faces to Blade, at least that happened with Sylvan's vote. Fury lineup got 13% over night, literally. All of us thought that it was because of cheating, but in the end Strength lineup cheated the most and it just happened that majority of votes changed to Fury at the same time.
I find rather difficult to believe that a huge amount of people has decided to suddenly switch votes at the end of the bloody second vote round, without any article or whatsoever to justify that change.
About the Sylvan lineup vote, I still think it was cheating. There are many ways to avoid being detected and changing your IP. IDK, maybe I'm wrong but that surge was way too much in so little time to believe. I think things would've been very different if they would've deleted all votes made by accounts created AFTER the poll was announced. Earth's Balance was reigning supreme and only started falling around the time cheaters started talking about cheating and showing how to do it.
I would've also loved to see a second round vote like with Dungeon, Earth's Perfect Balance was just perfect, I'm a videogame designer with some experience here, and fury made me cringe with the obvious inner balance problems it will have while in earth's balance everything had harmony and looked really fun to play the way it was made. Maybe it wasn't cheating but anti-sylvan guys being allowed to vote it, trying to destroy the faction from the beginning.
If they like so much that we vote on everything, I think they should give us the ipportunity to have a second round there even if the initial proposal wasn't that way.

The most important thing for me is variety of troops...and each tier having different level of power in H5 and previous helped with this. From what you say above, seems promising for this. I hope champions will also be stronger that those from H6 (relatively).

I don't remember you shouting when people were spamming 'GOGOGOFURY' or blade pictures. So I will thank you to stop the hypocrisy.

I didn't point any fingers, so not sure about your hypocrisy argument. Though I fail to see how that would make your spamming right if it were true.

You also made a comment on mmh7, which was specifically addressed to me, so stop playing innocent.
Yes I've spammed around 30 medusas on a board where there is +6000 (apart from a very few people of good will) comments of nonsense, hence the sarcasm.

bitula said: Hi All!
Please feel free to congratulate me, since I’ve read through all 286 pages! Well this H7 looks promising. And I somehow put more confidence into Limbic then into BH, mainly because of the huge gap in salary between Hungary and Germany, and well, argh..., forget it. But one thing I am concerned about is if the game is in pre-alpha – as someone explained here – how will it be finished in just one year? If I understand correctly faction implementation just began, while the last two factions not even started??? Even if reusing 50% of art etc, it still feels so short time remaining...
Otherwise I liked everything I read so far, the return to H5 and other well proved concepts etc. I’m not really concerned about the semi randomness. The only think I highly dislike so far is the 3 tier system. I liked how in H5 you always got more and more powerful creatures. This makes you feel a gradual progress through 7 distinct steps. I’ve read here, however, that 3 tiers is not equal to 3 different strength level, which can save my day, so as within the same tier a creature can be more powerful than another? How so? Can someone expand on this?
Congrats
Each tier should have two units similar in power, with the third being stronger. To an extent this was also the case in H6 but I believe the differences will be more pronounced now. And we have also launched a legendary campaign (lots of whining!) to get the champions stronger compared to the other tiers
I gotta ask if this has actually been said somewhere? The way I saw h6 system of tiers was that:
All core units were equal, roughly tier 2 (of old system)
All elite units were equal, roughly tier 4
Champions were roughly tier 6
While all core units for example did have differences they all had equal "power". Let's say all core units had 100 power. With this they would "buy" raw damage and abilities till they had used that 100 and the result would be the actual core-unit. Skills basically "cost" more points depending on the usefulness of the skill. Different things I considered in these "costs" were unit-type, skills, stats and weekly growth(price I also considered very minor "power cost/gain"). While I do think some units more useful than others(for example priestess and kappa over shark) I did consider them equal as long as you could make good use of the units. I didn't feel any unit being truly "better" between core units as long as you knew how to make good use of them.
And so far in h7 I haven't see any difference to the system based on the live demo at least, but I hope there the units had modified stats compared to "real" ones. I always hated the h6 system and in h7 I just fear limbic took the easy way out since balancing 3 tiers is much easier and faster than balancing 7 tiers. I do hope they'll prove me wrong.

If you look at the first picture in Stevie's post, you can actually see that the purple glow is probably an outline caused by a mouse-over on the unit ingame - except that we don't see the actual cursor in the screenshot.

Votes - Upcoming Updates
Quote: Dear fans,
The two current votes are nearing their end (tonight at 11:59pm CET, so vote now if you haven’t!) and we’d like to tell you more about the future of these votes and the ones coming next.
In order to secure results and to be 100% sure that the current votes weren’t spoiled, we will count the results again and share official results tomorrow (especially for the line-up vote).
For the future, we are glad to announce that the eagerly awaited update is ready for the website. Indeed, starting next vote, the results of the votes will be hidden until the end, when we’ll release an official statement announcing the winner. This change will permit to reduce the temptation of influencing results and will permit all voters to keep trustful to their opinions.
We hope this solution will please most of you and ensure a safe and fair environment on this website.
Best,
The M&M Team
