By the way Anastasia looks, almost all hope for non neon-green Necropolis is gone. And by the looks of it, I belive emo/goth feel will continue aswell... giving us possibly "living" vampires and liches in bondage and their skin intact.
I'll wait for the lineup and unit drawings/pics to judge
No matter what, I long expected my fav faction's reveal
Also, the conflict between Anastasiya and Sandro looks promising...
And, Marzhin, welcome back

Welcome back indeed!
Can't judge the whole faction by the looks of a single hero, which is from H6 anyway. Too early to tell...

1) One hero =/= entire faction colour scheme.
2) “A fellow Necromancer, a Lich in an advanced state of decay, was once attacked by a Silverback. My poor colleague is still looking for his femur.”

Anastasya must look neon green, because that is how she looked in Heroes 6. So it is too early to judge the looks of whole Necropolis.

NOOOOOOO, not green
If they really want to use a poison as a base for Necro's colors, why not cyanide? Paris Green is overrated anyway and red for necro is awesome
I was hoping for a Void Necropolis, but I didn't get my hopes too high since the trailer showed that ugly green necro. A void necropolis would open the possibility of some Lovecraftian undead and Sandro FTW

I think our best bet is a Nethermancer subclass of the Magic heroes in Necropolis, with bony figures and all. But I feel even that is kinda shaky since they are universally hated, like the demons. I can't think of anything else.

However, a void necropolis would balance the sides more, you got chaotic evil, demons and lawful evil, nether necromancers (but Nethermancers are the good side afterall, they fight the totalitarian system of the dragons ). The spider-cult necropolis quite failed to deliver it, H5 one was more old-school necropolis, focused on haunting theme and classic horror like in h2-h4, rather than my-eyes-hurt spider theme. A void necro would be a breath of fresh air IMO

Canonically speaking, skeletal liches are supposed to be a rare occurence -- they are usually the result of freak accidents. Officially Sandro (Void experiment gone sour) and Moander (mixing the wrong poisons) are the only skeletal liches of Ashan, at least the only ones that we know of.

then I guess you'll just have to steal into Erwin's office and make a few sneaky adjustments to the canon while he's on lunch break, hue hue hue

What I could imagine are Shantiri Liches, super-old Undead priests that are actually so old they look like mummified skeletons. But maybe that would be too similar to the Tomb Kings of Warhammer.
In any case if such creatures existed they would be neutrals, not part of the "modern" Necropolis.
