I really like the massive stairs leading to the top, just like in a cult. The town design is looking nice. I wish for a big tower or spire somewhere though, for example on the right side.
The feeling that these are actual towns is gone since H5 though, but we already knew that.
Furthermore having a cult is ok, but if you need to build your town legs to remind you of spiders then you have literally gone nuts

Dave_Jame said: I must say I like the idea.. a large pyramid with individual buildings on levels.. not bad.. now make it look better.. atleast abit. :-)
The idea itself may not be bad, we got a (spider) temple screen instead of the regular town screen, but it could have been realized a bit better. It is too clustered, and buildings cover only a half? or even 40% of the screen, while the rest is just empty... Also is the building near the statue's legs levitating?

Not so much of a town as it is a Temple-complex. But then again, the Undead aren't exactly people who need a place to live.
And, I don't actually dislike it. Yes the legs are weird, but over-the-topness is something you should start expecting by now.

I really like the Necropolis townscreen. Yeah, the gigantic spider legs are laughably silly and scream "We're compensating for something", but otherwise it looks great to me. I've always liked the "Sickly Green Glow" look of Ashan's Necropolis, so I really don't see why people have a problem with that aspect. I particularly like the large central staircase.

They are overusing the spider theme. It is too much imo. Someone in ubi likes spiders too much I guess the next thing will be the change in lore: Ashan is in fact flat and rests in a spiders back that is moving on an endless web created by Asha...

I wouldn't be surprised if this is actually true.

well so far the "over-the-topness" has been rather, i don't know, boring while this is filled with pure, childish ridiculousness. While haven is kinda stupid and the only thing that is "over the top" is a giant golden dragon, here the entire city(temple/whatever) is one, giant spider. that's hilariously ridiculous but doesn't seem that out of place. i needed that and it has somewhat rekindled my faith in the franchise. not by much, but it's something.

Other than bad perspective/distance/angle, I don't find this one to be too bad.
As far as spider legs go, it at least gives it a bit of character... even if it's negative character trait in some/many eyes.

OMFG HAHAHAhahahahahahahaha!
I thought I remember the spider/undead theme from somewhere!
That Ashan-guy really played too much WOW and Warcraft... He should create his own creativity and not some half D&D, half Warcraft and half whatever mixture of boring pass ideas.
Even the vampires look like arthas, its getting pathetic.
Stevie deserves a QP for that post about Erwan!
