Attacker's troops acting first and Defender's second(if they got the same speed/initiative) was clear, but now it's just confusing. What does mean offensive and defensive creature then? Attack rating? Defense rating? Damage? What if both creatures got the same attack/defense?

I refuse to believe there is something called attacking and defending creatures... i think its just attacking player and defending player. Otherwise its just weird :/
But anyways...
I was looking through the creature lists in the HOMM7 Wiki and i noticed that a keyword "saboteur" appeared quite often... Do we know what this ability does?
Also noticed that in the picture of the Treant there are some fruits growing in the tree  maybe oranges? Pretty nice touch...
