As much as I enjoy your metaphors, I think this is pretty much your way of seeing things, which wouldn't necessarily apply to everyone.
On top of that, you replied to Verriker who never said anything about sales figures being affected.

I didn't say anywhere that I or anyone else would boycott the game on the basis of some lore making no sense, that's putting words in my mouth,
all I said was that some people find these creature backstories stupid (which we can see in this very thread) and have a right to complain
as far as any other complaints go, well if I really didn't care about HoMM or thought it had no hope, I would just say nothing at all

You said that something making not so much sense is a problem for people who realy care about such things.
I, in my as usual too subtle way, tried to say that if you realy did care about such things that much, you've learnt to accept it by now or given up far earlier. Because this is just one drop of water in an ocean.

Hm, the site is extremely slow...but I guess that's normal at this point. Every time after a major update, the site lags like crazy.
And I didn't even get to share my thoughts about everything yet  . Oh well, at least I saw the 3D models earlier today, so I already know things to say.
What I can mention, is the Necropolis faction theme. Holy mother of Elrath, I love it. The part with the song contrasts the darkish tone of the beginning and the end (I wonder what is being sung). I loved the opera singing in H5's Haven Theme as well  .

Everytime they introduce an update all starts getting slow and laggy. Why don't they announce a maintenance, put the site offline for several hours until all is good then put it back online? It's less frustrating this way IMO

It's good they at least consider changing some units in Necro but...
They don't have to do anything. This theme compensates for everything. Every. Thing.
Just come to realize....
This theme would be EPIC BEYOND MEASURE on an organ. In fact, I wonder why they haven't done so from the very beginning. Oh, if only I could play it....
