I myself prefer landings. Unlike take-offs, they are not always guaranteed ... Makes them that more special.

The way i see it is that the landing is pretty much the only thing thats guaranteed in flying

If there's one thing I dislike about flying, it's the take off. And the landing, too.
The only thing that's cool about flying is once the plane is at a stable altitude, cruising towards its destination and you can look at the landscape as it is rolling on somewhere deep below you. With some luck you have clear skies and can make some amazing pictures .
