Avonu said: No, we didn't have even H6 site until some time with development and we got mainly factions descriptions and their units (and we never got Dungeon subsite).
All info was given only by Failbook - which was not wise move.
I see. So any lore that was written about H6's characters (as well as other things) was presented in game, right?

We got units, line-ups, heroes and skills previews posted on Failbook and these were (nearly) exactly the same text what we found later in game.

Because blue-skinned Yog in HoMM1 is already a Barbarian, while in H3:SoD Half-Genie Yog is still a Wizard (after his mother) and only begins his road at father steps?

Or perhaps the H1 Yog is the H3 Yog, but due to fickle nature of Might & Magic, which uses sci-fi, he does not age.

Nor do we have the dungeon track. Which is strange considering Slyvan's was released like a few days after the vote ended...? I mean I know that everyone knew slyvan would win but they could have at least tryed to hide it
Speaking of dungeon, the stalker has the piercing shot ability...So that makes the count up to like 4 or 5

but there is no Wizard class in Heroes 1 to even put him in, Barbarian is the next closest thing for his character lol
and in SoD Gem even says she met him once back in Enroth lol

There is a Warlock class for male mages, so he could be one, if this was really needed to be (both Barbarians and Warlocks are "evil" factions after all ).
And I don't remember about Gem meeting Yog on Enroth. Can you share her worlds?
Also she is not familiar with name Sandro, while she should (they both are from Enroth and fought during Succession Wars).

an Enroth Warlock does not a Bracada Wizard make lol, and Yog was failed as a spellcaster, he has a Barbarian father and was much more interested in war texts than magic tomes, it would make no sense to paint him as a Warlock master of magic when his lore has him in as a Barbarian in all but name lol
also all Heroes in H1 were just clones of existing Might and Magic characters, they would obviously not have had the foresight to put him in as a Warlock when he was a Barbarian in Xeen, the backstory of him that he was once a failed Wizard was not retconned in until H3 lol

"Today I received word from Gelu about a pair of Barbarians attacking Deyja from the Contested Lands. To my surprise, an hour later some of my Elven scouts escorted in some Orc spies with a message for me. It was from a blue Barbarian hero named Yog. Hmm, I met him once in Enroth."
she is also unfamiliar with Crag Hack, who is unfamiliar with Yog, who are both also unfamiliar with Sandro, I doubt all of these heroes met on speaking terms in the middle of a war lol

Guys, did you see Rolandsu comments on SC ?
https://mmh7.ubi.com/en/blog/post/view/haven-video-some-screenshots#
he posted links to files with screenshots of "Descriptions of buildings - dungeon, sylvan and skills dungeon and sylvan" and other stuff, I don't know where he get it
according to those screenshots Dungeon faction ability will be Shroud of Malassa
and Sylvan, Nature's Revenge
There are also screenshots of buildings descriptions and all the warfare machines revealed

I know it is a dang shame. Now all we get is the poorly done cutscene format.
