As stated above I agree that the face of the bladedancer is the problem, simply doesnt look elven. At most half elven. A young native american Gargamel isnt that far off  , now the 3D model may look better in this regard. But they should tweak the art of the face thats used in the game.
I have a feeling that the 3D-model of the druid will look better then the artwork also.

I don't mind the bladedancer. The Ubi wants to make LotR/Warhammer out of HoMM - half naked dancer boys isn't much of a stretch. These horrors supposed to be pixies however..

I take Devaintart any day over Oliver Ledroit. He is a skilled artist - sure - but his perverted style doesn't work with HoMM. I can't even link to most of his artwork as most of it looks like taken from some kind of kinky sex magazine.

Compare that with how HoMM is supposed to look:
Those are from NWC:s HoMM V:s Fairy town, a baby that was never allowed to live because of people like Erwan Le Breton and Oliver Ledroit.

Remove the pointy ears and there's nothing that makes him look like an elf, also the upgrade with this face and grey hair makes him even more creepy, like a elderly rapist

I understand, but for a massive project as a video game, random outsourced people working for chips are never going to be the same as having an actual art team with some skill and prestige lol

Elves getting older have grayer hair? How old an elf should be to be considered old? If such idea exists for that race, that is. The shining pony looks neat, somehow, if I don't remember it's replacing the beloved unicorns.
