You have to realize that an "art team" as such doesn't really exist as such. Most if not all artwork is either done injouse by their own graphics department or by freelancer artists who fit a certain portfolio. And deviantart is simply just a way for an artist to display their own portfolio.

Just that they can be a competent replacement anytime and there isn't any clear distinction between someone in a "team" and a freelancer...

Druid: I think it is pretty good, unupgraded best of the two. The upgrade is too over the top for me and really, they have HEELS?
Deer: Probably my favorite of the elites actually, upgrade is gorgeous in my opinion.
Blade Dancer:......He looks like a snowing rapist. I call for a remake like they did with the vampire and liches, whatever happened to that...

Well, it is not that hard, really. It is maybe time consuming more if you are selecting a shape that is rather complex. Just select the object that you want to manipulate with Free/Scissors/Rectangle/Ellipse Select Tool, then go Colours > Hue-Saturation... A window will appear named Hue-Saturation, and then just move the Hue scroll bar left or right to adjust the colour. I'm also learning, but you know how they say... you can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs. It's all about trial and error.

Except for Hunter & Druid...
I really don't like the Sylvan art. Dryads are beautiful, but overlap with Pixies- I would've imagined them more tanky-ish. Pixies- as said- are bit too similar to Faceless.
Regarding the Elite units, only Druids really look like intimidating Elite-level units. Blade Dancers & Stags both look Core. What I would've done: put Hunter, Dryad & Faun (some badass Satyr unit) at Core, either ditch Stags or have Druids ride them, replace Stags with Unicorns & Blade Dancers with Giant Mantises, and keep Champion as is. Or demote Treants to Elites (instead of Dancers) & have the original Green Dragon/Phoenix Champion tier.
But thinking realistically- they should just have Blade Dancers look more badass, since the current version really doesn't seem like they can stand toe-to-toe with the likes of Minotaurs, Vampires & Cavalry.

What is the point of mentioning those artowrks from before? Were they supposed to be used for HoMM 7? No! They were just some kind of direction in which are they going for that unit, nothing else. So please stop whining. Honestly I votes for fury because of Bladedancers. While I am not big fan of their grey hair, we have already seen them in that short video, where they looked great, if you ask me. No one complaid about their apperances, buy now when they saw artowork, not an actual model, and you are all crying like little babys. You cryed for deers, for looking to deer like? I mean, that is just rediculus. How are they supposed to like like? And now when you saw really cool upgrade, your answer is, they look like cores.. White horse whit a horn does not? Grow up..

Such heels aren't bad. If you have patent shoes and have walked through earthy path they don't dig into earth, unless there was a heavy rain. These heels have similar surface area to ones in patent, so the presence of these heels doesn't really matter that much. They are not stilettos and these would be redundant.

Hey, people wanted such units to be designed. It is not like they could've just taken this artwork and draw it better. No, they just had to ignore all that and go with their stubbornness.
As for deer, maybe it was just an exaggaration (considering how un-upgraded looks like). But it is too shiny, makes it look like a product of Elrath, god of light.

What can we say when things were done in haste? People wanted artwork and Ubi made some in haste. Though I must admit we did not know which line-up would've won.
Also, I have been thinking and the votes were still unfair. Why? Because we did not get all creature artwork. Does anyone remember how strider is supposed to look? Yes, you don't, because there was no artwork.

Marketing of course. Hence why they said at one of the site that "Collector's Edition is approved by Shadow Council".
Basically, this all enforces why we think H7 will fail. Ubi is too stubborn to provide fans a good game. And we will stay stubborn as well until they start to change their opinion.
