It is because it lacks a shirt or an armor. Didn't like that much in H5, nor do it now.

Well not exactly. They should take H3 as an example, not to "implement" it in. While the best game of Heroes (speaking about majority here), it is not perfect. Hence why we expect... er, expected, that H7 is an improvement, having more diversity and randomness.

Error in the drawing maybe? I can't find any other explanation for it...
Can you try to remove it and see how it looks Minastir please?

If we were having this conversation in January i might be optimistic, but the game is coming out in a few months and there is a lot of bugs and features to fix and create so i really think they dont have the time to put any effort into remaking things that "work". And people have been sending strong messages to them all along, but with very little effect :/ It think they just dont have enough time and resources to pull this off in a proper way... Lots of shortcuts and recycling and other easy way outs in the game making and it shows...
So im not very optimistic at the moment (scars of H6 havent healed yet and they wont if H7 keeps scratching them...), but we will see how this turns out in a few months :/

The stag looks extremely good. No explanation needed,a fresh air of change.
The blade dancer,although different from the artwork, looks stocky with those heavy pants and does give a feeling of an elite for me. To all those who complain about the face,I'll say that we hate for the sake of it! It really is getting out of hand here. Like seriously...
I bet my own life(I am that sure) that even if they gave us the artwork one,there would still be many more complaints. The ponytail,the eyebrows or just anything. A shame really.
I still expected a male druid to be honest. I dunno why. This one certainly does not look hideous. It's ok. I wanted her to be more feminine though and delicate. But we already havr delicacy and femininity with cores so it makes sense that the druid lady is kinda butch And I have my explanation about the deer head so I'm cool there is one.
Not overdone,but very detailed and that's a good thing.
So feel free to ignore me once again and make me feel heard and welcome in this community because I have a different opinion. Like so many others here who remotely like ashan (ubi aside of course).
I know we run out of stuff to talk about,but complaining about faces and portraits??really??? We suddenly remembered that we care about these stuff?
Anyway I like this line up a lot and I hope it's fun to play with(if the game is in decent condition).
We should focus on magic schools and somehow try to save that instead, and spend energy there. Instead of trying so hard to find negative stuff about artworks, lets seriously become marzhin's nightmare or anyone else's who can actually do smth about the 375 schools of magic we have here. Any actual useful knowledge on that?

Well, one would expect a company that works for 10 years to get some facts straight. 20 years? They should've gone deep through the games and see what was wrong so they don't repeat it. That's the problem. Even if that is ignored, you still have H6 as a sole example.

Because of what, for god's sake, are you finding druid necro-looking??!
She has nice green eyes. Green isn't reserved only for necro all the sudden becouse of stupid Ashan. It's the colour of nature, first and foremost. And it has none of that necro-radioactive neon glow.
And yes, she is frowning, that only shows that she's serious and meens business.
Druid, hunter and sprite are the only units that look good. Rest is utter trash.
I'm very sad becouse nature-based factions were alwas my favorites, but the part of me is kind of happy because all of the suckers who voted Fury solely because of oh-so-awesome Blade dancer, (which looked great but still for CORE unit!) even if the rest of lineup was totally lame.
Well, here you go, enjoy your overdressed pervert, they pulled a good one on you.

I agree whole-heartedly,and this applies for gameplay. The aesthetics though have to keep up with today. And I was talking about the artworks not the gameplay. With that comment you are proving my point. that heroes 6,due to it's very bad gameplay and bugs left us very hurt about the franchise we all so much love. Yet H6 visuals are the best we've seen in any heroes games as a whole. I repeat, as a whole. I loved the looks of all factions really! Even the orcs whom I find so un appealing as a tribe!!

Dunno... If they worked on the base and then re-draw it for the upgrade and got forgotten it might be a mistake...
