She said that they had 80/20 formula for HVII from the beginning of the development, 80% of classic, traditional staff and 20% of new things for the game, also the treant is a shooter, for me it's good

The Hydra looks awesome. It somewhat resembles Aliens, but that's not a problem to me since I think they look cool too. Also I love how the Hydra has no eyes, really fitting for a faction living underground.
However I think maybe it shouldn't be black so it doesn't look like a wingless Black Dragon (unless they make the Black Dragon Gold again).

what's people thinking it doesn't have eyes? it has big, round, glowing eyes clearly visible! The weird thing is that they're positioned at the sides of the heads.

yes, that is correct, it does have eyes in the same place as the unupgraded version has

I actually mistaken them by the usual random glowing Ashan units suffer from lmao

they are in a weird place, i agree. I mean, How do they even see what they are biting!? There are chitin plates right in front of them for snows sake!
Man, this annoys me almost as much as pedipalp-less "spiders"

You know, they wouldn't be the first neither the last animals to rely on other senses than sight but kept remnants of eyes. Snake rely primarily on scent and not sight anw.
I don't get the fuss about the eyes really. It has at least 4 heads ffs... so 4 pair of eyes.

Fishes are... special. Besides they seldom have random plates blocking their eyes, especially not if they're predators. It just doesn't happen. Now it's true that snakes rely more on smell than sight but they can still all see forward. Seeing forward is very important to any large predator like the hydra while eyes to the side are especially unnecessary since they shouldn't have to watch out for predators themselves and is even weirder since the large amount of heads should do that anyway.

It is also more purple. Still it is better than the insectoid dragon with galaxy wings we are probably going to get.

what I wanna know is, why is this hydra monologuing about destroying forests and taking revenge for unforgettable unforgiveable things, I thought it was the dumb dark elves who had a personal beef with the wood elves, not the hydras lol
