C: An empty suit of armour
D: A vampire knight
or
E: something else
And what makes a Black Knight different from a Death Knight (hero class)?

The mystery adds immersion and makes it more interesting, it's better to don't know what hides behind that suit of armor. That's why I didn't like the vampiric nature of h5 knight

Death knights are knights resurrected as liches. While they maintain their former martial leanings, their new forms open them more freely to the learning of magic. Death knights wear the tattered and rusting armor they were buried in.
Yeah, they were quite similar

Yea. Even though I like the Fate Weaver, but it's not at the top of my champion list. Dread Knight and Reaper are. Was never that fond of Bone Dragon, I think we can survive one Heroes without it as a Champion.
And we had one Heroes without it, H6.
But seriously, if they don't plan to do something amazing with Bone Dragons, we are better off without them. Their design, stats and abilities are so... uninspiring that I've skipped them in H5 most of the time. Literally I would get them so late that they would be there just to reduce moral of enemy stacks... they would be useless for fighting/tanking.
Now that we have 2 Champions, if they don't design them well enough I can't see myself ever building them.

They were Vampire Knights in HeroesV and DMoMM. In all other incarnations it's not known.
However, I have many times said that Empty/Haunted Armours should be creatures in their own right and be different from Black Knights.

We had a discussion about Angel heroes. Why couldn't a Death Knight assume hero role? If you do it a good bio description, I think it could work. Same with Lich and Vampire, I totally see them as hero classes. Remember Heroes 3?

They weren't classes back then. They were different forms of undeath, and some heroes fell into the category of Liches and others into Vampires. However the Death Knight class and Necromancer class both had a fairly even distribution of Humans, Vampires and Liches.

In h2, h3, h4 we had: vampire heroes, skeleton=lich heroes, zombie heroes and human heroes. Then in h5 they had some "vampires", 1 lich and 1 zombie, then H6 they went full haven

Never go full Haven. I feel not even Haven should go full Haven.
If I had to choose, I'd like H3 the most (I enjoy seeing Nosferatu-like vampires) but I however do not like H2/H4 vampires. I can see the appeal of the "blah", but that just seems campy. I'd like my Heroes games to be a bit of seriousness, but not overly so. I feel like if the H5 Vampires had some idle animation where they "clean" their blade and consume the blood on it, they would be the best form. As for bat/teleportation, I'd rather them becoming a swarm of bats that reform into a Vampire at their destination.

weapon can be use to injury enemies so they can't resist vampire biting£¬so weapon is useful.
but armor is not necessary. vampires should fade and dodge£¬not stand still and get hit.
I think vampire warrior should wear light leather armor or no armor£¬fight like assassin.
we already have black knight/death knight£¬ don't need another copycat

I'm just kidding.  If implemented the right way, a female vamp could be ok. It depends on design, abilities (apart from life drain which I presume is essential) and getting it to fit the rest of the Necro lineup.
