Not my case. Shields is much more appealing than Blades to me. Both creature and gameplay wise.

No, I'll be voting whatever isn't Blade.
I'm surprised at how much fuss this vote change has caused. There's only two creatures that are different from Faces and Shield, and the differences are very slight. I thought there would be less in-fighting. I'm fine with lineups. They both have their perks. Shield has an early shooter advantage with a flyer, while Faces has a good creature that counters rushes, and a later, but better, shooter.
Are people really that adamant about either?
Or worse, would people really revenge vote against a line that would be completely different from what lineup they lost previously in comparison?

I'm writing this for all Shield voters who are anti-Blade. This post is completely sincere, and let me start it by saying that Dungeon is my favorite faction.
I love Shield. I knew it was unlikely, but I had hoped that it would be Shield and Faces in the second round. However, it's clear that Blade will be in the second round.
Remember that Faces had 52% in the beginning, and Shield had only 18%.
I have seen SO MANY many people say that if Faces loses, then they'll vote for Blade.
Furthermore, a lot of Blade voters are saying they're switching to Shield just to knock out Faces.
As much as I love Shield, I honestly don't believe Shield can overcome Blade. I have pretty much zero faith here. It's really sad, but I'm convinced that if Shield makes it to the second round, Blade will win.
I believe Faces, however, has a chance to overcome Blade.
So I am pleading for as much Faces support as possible.

If Faces is out, I'll switch to Shield. Blades doesn't "do it" for me at all.

people got convinced with the time passed. things change, opinions change, or so i think they do. i dont know really how should i read the current vote percentages.
i dont think blade can win second round by any chances. SoD and MTS are pretty much similair to each other in anti-Blade opinions.
Blade is in its peak, %35. i see no reason to see it in %50.

How they struggle, lol! This is just priceless
The disappointment, how I will feast on it.
Edit: Seriously now, Blade will take this. I just feel it.

*sips on tear tea* Quite.
The disappointment, though, not the Blade malarkey. I'm the eternal optimist, after all; I say we will make it through.

I really hope Shield wins
It seems like Shield is getting more and more supporters, which is great.
I think I would be very disappointed if shield loses, because they have the dream line-up of creatures:
Manticore-Minotaur-Hydra trio plus Black dragon.
I know Hydras are champion units but I believe we should be able to get all four of them on the battlefield if players have more than one dungeon towns (one town that has hydras and the other one has black dragons)
Doesn't that line up sound too good?
I have been dreaming of this line up ever since Heroes 3, and we actually might get it for the first time in Heroes Series if Shield turns out victorious.
If shield loses, I guess I have no choice but to vote for blades on the second round.
I am not voting faces just because of Medusa. I feel Faces is just awful because I just can't stand Striders and two similar elves units in the line up.
Blades seem to actually have more different elves units, and nightmares are much better for me than those striders.
It's just a shame that this horrible unit had to be introduced in both shields and faces.

I consider Medusa more deserving of "ideal Dungeon" lineup than Manticore. H3 (the iconic reference) has a really powerful Medusa for it's tier, forming an excellent shooting tandem with the Beholder. Manticore on that game felt really weak compared with others of its tier so in my mind it wasn't a creature that you were specially waiting for.
And about Faces having similar units, Blades have 2 melee elves. Faces at least features a ranged elf (it would be like getting the sentinel and a melee squire on haven core or something instead of the marksman).
Faces and Shield are natural "allies" against Blades. In fact the fact that they're really similar is what makes Blades have more votes than each of them as their voters are torn. Second round should show both groups uniting against Blades.

I've been wondering a lot about this too. Just like some Strenght voters ended up Fury, some Shield voters might end up Blade. Yes I know, it makes no sense at all whatsoever, but it is the reality. Still Faces, was very much leading at the beginning. Just like Balance IIRC.

We will see, a lot of people really dislike Blade and voted Faces because they like Medusas more than Manticores, but will vote for Shield if Faces lose.
On the other hand, some of them actually prefer to have more than 1 Dark Elf unit in town so maybe will end up with Blade.
I still think that majority of Faces like Shield more than Blade and I am at least hoping for that.

THE UNDERDOG, OR SHALL I SAY, THE UNDERMANTICORE, RISES FROM THE SHADOWS TO TAKE THIS CONTEST BY STORM.
Behold the manticore:
The manticore is still warming up. He has yet to undergo his intense Rocky training to become more manticoresque than ever before.
Going higher... getting stronger...
Yes. The manticore. Face it, opposition, you lost this battle before it began. The manticore will reign supreme in the end, even if it looks like he's losing in the beginning.

Your opinions remind me of people in the Skid Row: they are poor. The blades lineup units have been proven as usefull.

"Proven useful" how? A strike-and-return unit on foot, meaning they have to run around obstacles in a way that nullifies the usefulness of strike-and-return, another strike-and-return unit that noticeably lacks the "no retaliation" trait that makes strike-and-return useful, and a teleporter who does not have the luxury of strike-and-return. How is that "proven useful"?

Medusa in H3 is much more interesting if you have Beholders alongside, and the stoning ability makes them great fighters.
Sharpshooters and Magis deals better damage but have lower HP and fall faster.
But none of them can play the clarinet as Manticore does.
