Shadowcorns really should not be part of Dungeon. In Inferno not only they fit more but they also help Inferno to have a more diverse lineup.

This is what I thought of first... It was silly in kings bounty and that game was not very serious game to begin with so how can people take it seriously in a Heroes game?
The only other option is the Hellcharger modell from H5 and why would we want to take away a good unit from a struggling inferno and add it to a stacked dungeon lineup.

As of now, I am a Malassa's Thousand Faces voter.
I was stuck in between Blade and Faces and decided to go for the latter. Strategy-wise I prefer offensive, but I think balanced is good enough for a faction that has a good history with destructive magic, so I'm betting on the compensation factor. Creature-wise, I love the Medusa and I see this vote as a great opportunity to cement the unit into Ashan Dungeon, one that I simply cannot miss. Lurkers and Manticores are already established. Also, the Troglodyte is back too as some sort of bonus, since I don't consider it's that key but it sure brings it closer to Heroes 3 Dungeon. The one creature that I detest is that Strider, because of being a construct, but I can let it slide for the Medusa. Ability-wise, which is probably the only reason for which I decided to not have Blade with Faceless and Nightmares, I think that 2 creatures with Strike & Return and other 2 with teleport is a bit overdoing things. I'm still unsure if this was the right call though, since I can totally see a Nightmare charging through a portal to appear on the other side.
My thoughts for now to at least explain my vote choice. I might change my vote in the future.

Two strike-return units in one line-up? Shadow Unicorn? Good gracious.

In Heroes VI they had reptiles so I see no problem in having them again in Heroes VII.

They can still be Dark and destructive at the same time, it's not like they exclude each other.

Sadly they do. Destructive is Inferno spec now.

You know what is the saddest thing here? First time developers are listening to their players and you are whining... Honestly I don't like those creatures too... xD
I mean I am OK whit that construct, OK whit those elves, but that unicorn? I think they added him, because you all cried for no unicorn in Sylvan line-up.
Medusa? I mean come on... you made town based around them, and now you are making them dungeon unit? WHERE IS MY CORRUPTED ORC THEN?
I am surprisingly glad to see Troglodytes back, but why on earth Shield has the least amount of votes??? They are great, MANCTICORE and BEHOLDER ARE THERE GUYS!!!!
2 creatures I really, really don't like are in 2 different line-ups... I hope these votes are not finalized !

Yes Dungeon is dark magic faction but it doesn't mean that they can't get destructive spells.
Same with Inferno they are destructive magic faction but they still can learn earth based spells or get them.

I'm quite intrigued by this 'Strider'. I really want to know what it looks like. It is quite unexpected to have a mechanical unit in Dungeon, but I still find it interesting.

sigh. There's no lineup to choose from!
Blade has Faceless for elites. WTF?! Damn Hydras are stronger than them? I thought Faceless were the equivalent of Angels.
Then you have these Shadow Unicorns. WTF is that? I guess they're trying to make old fans as happy as possible.
Thousand Faces has Medusa who's suppose to be in Sanctuary. So, if we do have Sanctuary in the future, we'll get a duplicate unit? Then we have another duplicate unit, Soulless, except it's a dark version. Stop with the duplicate units.
Shield of Darkness is the lesser of 3 evils with only one downside. The duplicate unit that is Soulless.
All 3 lineup suck though.
This would've been a very good lineup.
Core
1. Rogue -> Assassin - male melee Dark Elf with backstab ability.
2. Blood Blade -> Blood Brother - male melee Dark Elf with strike and return ability.
3. Beholder -> Evil Eye - range flier eye-like creature with gazing ability.
Elite
4. Minotaur -> Minotaur Guard - male melee Minotaur with good damage-dealing capability.
5. Troglodyte -> Chthonian - melee tanker
6. Manticore -> Scorpicore - flier with poison debuff
Champion
7. Shadow Dragon -> Black Dragon
8. Faceless -> Faceless Puppeteer - male faceless teleporter strike and return almost equivalent to range units.
Hydra now belongs to Sanctuary.. because it's a snake.. sort of.. and snakes belong in Sanctuary.

Wow, this vote is much more difficult than the Sylvan line-up vote.
What I would've liked:
- No more than 2 elves, preferably divided between core and elite
- Faceless as spellcasting champion (similar to fairy dragons)
- NO snake medusa in dungeon, she belongs with sanctuary now
- Idem for the hydra
Preferred line-up would've been:
Core:
- DElf
- Trog
- Beholder/lurker
Elite:
- DElf witch
- Minotaur
- Beast
Champ:
- BDragon
- Faceless
What we get to choose from:
Blade:
- Faceless not champion tier and without spellcaster role
- Two DElves in core
- 2nd chance for the unicorn
Faces:
- No faceless at all, but at least they won't be ruined
- Two DElves in core
- What is a construct doing in dungeon when we have so many good alternatives?! I really need to see concept art of those
- Medusa Only acceptable as shadow witch, but then the name doesn't make sense and it would mean 3 DElves
Shield:
- Only one DElf I would have liked the assassin better though
- What is a construct doing in dungeon when we have so many good alternatives?! I really need to see concept art of those
For now Shield of Darkness is my preferred line-up, but I would really like some more detailed descriptions and concept art to base my choice upon.

Their gender has never been explicitly stated, so I assume they are both male and female.

Shield of Darkness line-up is awesome. 1000 faces is also cool, but the first one sucks salty balls.

Well I can't say I am excited about any of the choices.
My vote is still with blade, though I could tolerate 1000 faces. I am interested in seeing what the trog looks like.
Also I could do without that nightmare. I will always think of that as an inferno thing even if it was in H4 Dungeon (sorta)
