I would also like to participate.
EDIT:
"The second restriction is a limit in the number of pictures. You may only enter one picture per creature, and five additional pictures for the overall rest of the faction."
Can we merge 2-3 pictures in 1 in order to be able to stay within the given limit?

I understood that was allowed. You just cannot judge your own submission(s). As I like this contest and Jiriki was in dire need of judges I decided to sign-up for the task.

I do understand. But it is difficult to find judges. If people are interested in the contest they most likely also want to participate. If they are then not allowed to judge anymore it will be even harder to find judges. Maybe it would be a solution to let all participants judge? Although that might deter potential contestants...
PS: You are of course always welcome to judge Or you could become judge coordinator, so you can make sure I play by the rules

@Tsar: I do understand, but it is as Steyn said. But there is a judging coordinator and would it become obvious thatsomeone of the judging participants gave lower notes to buff themself, that would definitely have consequences!

First: THis thread was originally not meant for q&a...nevertheless, I will answer
and the answer is...I actually did think about that and I am quite unsure, but I THINK like this:
It depoends on what you mean by merge...if you just mean putting them next to each other, but it being only one file, I would say no, because it would take the point of the restriction, to have the faction be presented less by pictures and more by your description, away.
You could of course make one single new picture of two others, if you are capable to, but it would have to be recognizable as it than.
...also I am personally unsure wether to count diagrams and similar in, because their main purpose is to clarify a structural thing about the faction, not to present its looks.

Hm, another question. We have a limit of 1 post. How many characters are used to completely fill 1 post around here? I'm almost finishing writing my proposition and now that I think of this rule, I'm dreading that I'll have to simply cut things off.

No. You are not restricted to any setting.
