I am not against the Spiders as units, but I don't think that they should belong to Necropolis like this. If they are just giant living Spiders, they belong to the Dungeon far more than to the Necropolis.
So, nay for me. I would like more to see creatures that are actually undead.

For me it is more like "meh"
I am not that exited about them, but I am ready to give them a try and think that they do fit with the faction given the whole spider theme.

yeah I actually think that they are in a state of undeath(I mean they seem to be related to the namtarus, who were undead too),dunno why everyone thinks they are alive.

Well they should know that anybody (Even Ubi) That has a little reason in thier life would never put a living creature in a Undead faction...

Sure. If they are undead spiders it will however mean that they won't be breeding so they are gonna be hard creatures to get thus breeding and raising them would become invalid. Also since they're turning into namtarus in time(possibly) it would imply that they are not undead. Being a more rare species other races don't have would also mean you can't raise them after battles which is not good.
IF they are living they can breed, but then they aren't really fit to be in necropolis as it's undead faction(just translate the faction name...). Also I would associate spider with poison which makes them much more fitting into dungeon than necro. I don't really see how you would tame and train spiders either. In general the beasts/animals present can be considered quite intellectual or at the very least to have proper brain capacity to understand orders(I don't see spiders in either category, but if you can train spider to follow order feel free to post a video about it).
So overall, no I don't like spiders in necropolis. I saw enough of them in heroes online, don't really care to see anymore.

I like them as well. And i too think that they are not really alive
but spirits of spiders. Maybe they should make them look more ghastly

Outside Ashan there is 0 reason to have a Spider in the Necropolis faction. Especially when there are so many other creatures that would fit a lot more. Zombies, Mummies and Ghouls come to mind as quick examples.

I don't like them that well, simply because it's too cliche. Something as lazy as making them scorpions instead of spiders would be enough to improve my opinion.
I am completely open to the idea of having living units in Necropolis, as opposed to it being solely an undead faction. I've always thought human black knights and/or gargoyles would go very well with Necropolis (with said 1 or 2 living units not getting bad morale for being with undead).

Giant Spiders - Sylvan
Poisonous Spiders - Dungeon
Crypt(?) Spiders - Necropolis
Spiders can fit several factions, and it might be a fun unit to play with in Necropolis. Just please no poison ability, some trap/snare/web would be sweet, and the Spider would do extra damage to units in Web.

Poison ability is so bland and cliche, so is snare or trap. I rather have them maybe absorb mana or health and give it to the hero/creature. Something unique that a necromancer might find beneficial more than just damaging. And also be able to go over obstacles...you know...spiders...

I don't have any problems with a spider creature in general, but this one is just so bland. I wish they could experiment a bit. Kaspar says they "are actually slowly transforming into full-fledged Namtarus."
Cool, but couldn't you make a spider in the middle of the transformation? One that looks really bizarre. Be creative, this is Necropolis, they should be terrifying. A bland spider is not.

Same goes for me. Since I don't dislike them, that translates to a yes.
What is it with all the polls with too few options lately.

Nay. There are way better undead creatures that could fit Necropolis. I understand that Vecropolis worships Asha the Spider Godess (her 'spider' aspect), but putting spider on every little thing in Necropolis makes me sick. And now, spider as a unit, what a suprise.

I'm on the pro-spider side of the fence.
1) I feel that when a series is heavily built around lore, things should fit in that lore. In Ashan, spiders fit Necropolis.
2) I've grown to loathe zombies with a passion, so to have them removed and replaced is a good thing in my eyes.
3) I've noticed the trend of "two non-Champion four-square units" per faction, and it's one of Necropolis' big units.
4) I think the overreaction of people calling for change when it's JUST the (unfinished) model they're objecting to is more pathetic than the developers reusing assets.
And if you don't like my opinion, get over yourself.
