That just makes me mad. Ungrateful much for being chosen to play the game early, discover stronghold, AND talk with devs and creative director about it all? If I were Ubi I would cancel that invite immediately.

Personally i think you two were the worst choices they could have made. 3 if they went for the lizard person too. I would have rather had Elvin or someone like that, balanced and most importantly, aware that "my opinion" =/= feelings of the entire community.
However i'm glad that stevie has enough higher brain functions to know to avoid being rude, same for the guy that isnt going.

Well, that's what they get for choosing them, I suppose - it's not like it was unexpected that Gallad will start the 'I hate ur universe' snowstorm, given his Shadow Council comments.
You know, it's really annoying how it's quite possible they might not get so open with their community next time, because of such toxic people.  They reach out to the fanbase, but fanbase treats them like this. Well, good luck getting them to listen to you after that.
Edit: "snow"? I did not type that, so I assume it's censorship. Quite funny one.

I suggested to Galaad to take matters in private if he wanted to confront Erwan that much. But he seemed hell-bent on taking it out on him in front of the camera during the interview, and that's something I cannot agree with at all. I feel that his attitude is inappropriate for the event and unrepresentative of the community. I'll never ask anyone questions like "Are you sexually aroused by spiders", nor will I employ a likewise mindset because, if anything, I find it insulting.
As I said before, if things go like this, I fear that the only one to suffer from the aftermath will be the community. Arnaud said he had to fight to make this event possible, and I would never want him or anyone from the team to regret this decision. I'm not planning to be a troll and perhaps prove some opposing voices right. I'll be serious and argument every thought I have. I'll criticize what I deem worthy, but I'll also give credit where credit's due. I will not let any feeling of frustration overcome me, and everything I'll seek will be in the benefit of the game and the community, as this has always been the purpose that drove me.

Why would anyone be grateful to play any HoMM game early?
It usually takes two patches and a couple addons to make them playable.

Hmm, maybe because they get to know more about the game before others? This is a special event which only a few have a chance to attend, and honestly, if you think it is not something worthy of appreciation, why occupy a place that someone who, contrary to angry pseudo-fans, would actually enjoy and contribute something in a civil manner?

I think you have the right idea  . And I hope Galaad can look in the mirror and realise that he may be off center somewhat  .

I really don’t see what I am doing wrong here. I only want for the franchise to recover its former beauty, is that so mean? If we grant them is not for marketing, Ubisoft invites us because it took them ten years to finally admit that they couldn’t handle the franchise by their own, and I greatly appreciate that some employees actually have the guts to invite the most intransigent critics and trolls to the meeting. What would be the point inviting people praising the game I may ask. As someone once rightly told me, tough feedback is the best feedback. But all you guys seem to worry about is, “public appearance”. Of course we don’t have to make fools of ourselves, but do you seriously think such a harmless prank like the one I suggested would bring havoc to the place? I think anyone with a minimum of intellect can understand is a joke and nothing more, and the interview would be, IMO, so much more heated if it was a tad more controversial. Humor allows almost everything. Asking a troll question, which is moreover justified I believe, in a pleasant way is not disrespectful. But I won't ask it since you are all so afraid (or maybe I will? ).

yeah, suggesting someone you don't actually know and is inviting you to a paid event is sexually aroused by spiders whether as a joke or not is not something i would call polite. think about what you are saying: don't insult anyone.

Well, the side you showed there of yourself was rather different from the one you always show here. And not just one or two posts, but a whole series of them. So, yes, the way I look at you was changed because I got to know a side of you that I didn't know before.
And now I see that you more or less intend to crucify Erwan 'en plain publique', for 10 years of butchering the franchise? Just how should I be looking at you? Perhaps you don't realise it, but that is the image you're sketching of yourself here, for the rest of the community - at least for me and judging some of the other replies, I am not alone in that.

Wait, did people registered on this forum vote for our community representatives or did people from UBI and/or Limbic choose for us?
I don't feel and certainly did not choose either of them as my representative in any form.
If they want to embarrass themselves by stupidity and intolerance it does not in any way reflect to this community.
If they don't know how to communicate in civilized way that is just their image, not ours.
So in short I don't care if any of them strips naked and yells racial slurs during the interview because we didn't choose them and as far as I'm concerned they represent only themselves.
