Hello!
I'm at Ivan's campaign now.
I finished all the 6 campaigns, and since you're supposed to assemble 6 pieces to build the Griffin sword, shouldn't all 6 councilors be present to open up the locations of the pieces?
I only have 4- Murazel, Lasir, Ana, and Kente. What gives? Or are the other two pieces available throughout the map?
Thank you

I don't remember, just check the quest rewards and marked locations on the map. I do not remember how many shards are needed.

That's the problem. The marked locations are not showing up at all on the quest screen. I toggled the "track this quest" button and still no dice.
It does tell me to collect 6 pieces. But only four councillors showed up...

Yes I understand that. And the councillors open the way to the pieces for you. But Elvin was asking to get the marked areas checked, so I obliged.
So... Would you happen to know the answer to my original question?
Since there are six pieces, and the four pieces available in my map can only be opened up by the councilors, I'm wondering if the other two are searchable w/o Jorgen and Tanis? The quest summary doesn't necessarily indicate that those pieces are hidden.
Or do Tanis and Jorgen show up as I proceed further in the map?
Sorry for the questions, I just don't wanna waste my time if it turns out my map has been bugged out.

I'm the scrub that can't beat the first campaign....er....the last part of the Haven campaign where the Duke of Griffin-dork is coming to get you with his allies whom all have HUGE poopy armies of "I slay you really fast!" with the 30-50 angels, horseymen, abbots, etc.... I tried a new tactic (after many failures) where I'd rush the left side to cause a rockslide which prevents his allies from back door-ing me.... And have piled all the Haven troops on Tomas and sent him straight up the north east side of the map where I figured, and successfully, captured their town that spawned all the darn Celestials of slaying my butt.... But now I'm spread so thin and the allies still have HUGE armies that I've no idea what to do.... How many more stinkin towns do they have!? How many more heroes am I going to have to hunt down before it's all over?! The little ****s keep coming through the sea or the barricade I opened up and take my towns since they've got really low army's since I'm always broke on gold trying to buy troops to fight them off! I'm so frustrated I wanna cry!

Which mission (3rd or fourth) are you talking about?

Just complete the quests. You should have enough army to deal with them, even with some losses.

Is this the mission where you have a Conrad to protect bridge or the mission with convincing 2 heroes to join you at the early beginning?

But where do they get so many heroes!? I've been chasing them all over the map and it's driving me nuts! Do they have more than just the one town in the top right part of the map???

I thought this was probably the best done campaign overall, it's not quite as ridiculously tedious and long as H3 / H4. (if you actually remember the later H3 campaigns or the H4 once, H7 is a breeze in comparison.) and obviously H2 was a lot more basic (but I still think H2 is the best overall in terms of artistic consistency and greatness.)
H6 's campaign speed is a bit better, but it's plot was hilariously strait forward and predictable in many ways. but of course, nothing beats the epic comedy that was H5 in terms of plot. H7's way of presenting stories from different angels and teller etc was really fun. It helps that there is the base story from H5/ H6 already which makes the world a lot more complete and compelling.
The cutscenes (especially in the council ) not being done in proper animation is disheartening, but a lot of the dialog (especially almost anything involving Anastasia, it's hilarious she's became this brooding b&tch after being screwed by Uriel.) was really well done. It would have been epic if there was a bit more interaction between her and Tanis / Nolwenn

Yes, we miss banter between the councilors And the campaign missions are way too easy and/or straightforward. But then, it could not have been anything better when the quests literally tell you how to play the damn mission. Or when they avoid AI interaction simply because it is so terrible. At least I assume that's why they did it.

I have always liked these prescripted missions more than only kill em' all missions (H6 disappointed me a lot in this regard).
It is also very exciting how these stories have some hidden message for Ivan/us.
If I ignore the terrible council scenes (which should be finally fixed in june update), I have to say I like the in-game animations. I think it is much better than some H6 ones where some general models appeared in animations instead of heroes models (welcome, H6 DLCs).
So back to H7: The stories are good enough bud some characters could be better described/introduced and also the endings of campaigns are too fast for me, often explaining almost nothing.
I really disliked the Sylvan campaign ending (finished today). I had been waiting 4 missions how will the problem between Wysloth and his father solved, why is Danan's ritual so important (what is it like) and how will it end up. Nothing of this was explained
However the 2 possible endings is quite interesting option.
