Slayer spell
Does anyone ever cast this spell?
I don't, it seems pretty useless to me as it only affect one target, while bloodlust or bless could affect all and they are only level 1 spells.
When it says it works against dragons, does that also mean Fairie, Rust, Crystal and Azure Dragons?

It does wonders in Utopias and it helps if you want to get rid of your opponent's level 7 quickly. If you are fighting against Castle you want to take those AAngels out as quick as possible. And guess what, it stacks with bless and bloodlust

Useless spell. I think usually low level spells are better than high level spells.

No spell is useless. But yes it is a spell a player typically casts less.

I would say fortune is useless. I mean, if battle is enough hard for you to need that spell, then either you got ONLY that spell in book (ie Melodia) or you are making a mistake, as anything else would make a better deal

Unless your army has -3 luck (HotA)
I actually cast Fortune sometimes, way more than Slayer at least.

-3 luck triggers some penalty in Hota or simply prohibits lucky attacks?

Negative luck causes less than normal damage, I'm not sure if it is the same formula as postive luck, just reversed or if it is doubled like negative morale.
Devils and Arch Devils and Misfortune are also better in HotA because of negative luck, it's a whole new interesting aspect imo.

Nice addition. Then indeed it saved fortune spell, which was rather worthless until then.
