Can we now say H7 is the worst heroes ever?
As an old (30) time fan of the franchise, Heroes 7 has been objectively the worst overall: cutscenes, expansion, graphics, gameplay, you name it Heroes 7 is garbage in all of these fields.
Discuss.

No one can say objectively that it is the worst. Taste is personal not objective. For instance I personally think that gameplay can get no worse than 6, I prefer the graphics in 7 over 6 and even consider them better than 5 and 4, Dwarves always beat dark elves when it comes to the expansion. So in my opinion MMH 6 is the worst Heroes.

Wouldn't call it garbage, just.. not enough. Also, prior to H6 I would have focused solely on graphics, gameplay, replayability etc but now one has to worry about the game being broken, unplayable or having ridiculous loading times. Both H6 and H7 are like an unlucky lottery! Both had actually good parts but where they failed, they failed hard.

I can say that h7 is a little bit better than h6 in some regards, while h6 is better in others. They are both total crap, though

I guess you could say H7 is slightly worse. Only for to show how very little was learned from the mistakes of its predecessor.

It's the worst because it had its chance to improve after massive and extent feedback and community effort, and it still rocket to the bottom of sales, public approval, and overall functionality (innovations, features, bugs); failed at delivering what was marketed to be.

maps4heroes holds the majority of maps designed for H3-H7 games, some statistics:
H3: 1400
H4: 643
H5: 793
H6: 72
H7: 43
After H5, the fans contribution is divided by 10.

Look man, this guy made a thread asking about why Heroes 7 is the worst for its content ("cutscenes, expansion, graphics, gameplay") not for its marketing or advertising or development or who knows what else that might've been disastrous in its own right, but nevertheless outside of the game itself. So you go ahead and quote yourself with an emphasis about Heroes 7 being mainstream (lol, good one), you're still besides the point.

It's personal taste, I guess. For me, personally, the supreme leader for the title of worst Heroes game still goes to 4. Heroes 6 and 7 are close behind, though.

H4 is a masterpiece compared to 6 and 7 and personal taste has nothing to do with it.

No sales there, Stevie has it right as far as I can tell. I took it the same way.
EDIT: you could be referring to him saying "you name it", but even then he gives several examples all referring to gameplay/mechanics. At the very least our standpoint isn't wrong, just different.

We could settle for most disappointing heroes which is just as well.
Graphics bad for its time. Devs having raised expectations and not delivering. Poorer gameplay than previous games. Major performance issues. No balance to speak of - which is hilarious considering the imbalances of the previous games. Pathetically easy campaigns. Heavy unit recycling, sometimes painfully obvious. And of course the fact that H7 was ubi's last chance to not screw up and destroy the series.
With a legacy of 5 good games in mind, H7 ought to be way better. Everything was offered to ubi in a silver platter too: A solid groundwork had been laid long ago, fan feedback was plentiful and ubi had fan representatives to warn them or suggest improvements.
