Nindies!
While I was never interested in indie games this is some very interesting news. Most of the games presented are already generating a lot of hype and Switch gives something that beats it's rivals versions: you can play them on the go (plus some additional features like Rumble support and extra/timed content)! This will make players come in flocks. And more players = profit. Profit = more interesting games and better cosole life cycle!
PS: Actually that WarGroove which 'hidiously' takes from Advance Wars has picked my interest... me like!

Hayp is real, getting closer to getting one! If all goes well I will have it either tommorow or on Friday.
A few 'reviews' have already been posted. I guy on IGN gave it quite a weak note saying that although some functions still weren't tested, the console itself does not deliver mainly in the 'home' aspect. There are also reports of left joycon having some sync issues.
On the other hand Gamespot or Eurogamer said while it has some downsides it definately has potential, and is the most powerful portable console to date. But how well it will fare lies in the games they say.
But that just it. I'm buying this console for the titles. I said it so many times that it's not about graphics and technology war. It's about it's uniqness and fun. Nintendo delivers fun and polished titles that immerse me more then I would think initially.
And I already have my Advance Wars at least (Wargroove ). Sorta

Please let us know what you think about it when you receive it, I'm reading mixed reviews and am hesitating to get one myself or sit it out, Currently I would only really buy it for Zelda

Well in terms of if you should buy it, I think it all comes down to the titles. I thought about it for long and that's why I decided to buy it, even if the device itself turns out to be somewhat lacking:
- I like the idea of taking the console with me without stopping the play if someone wants to watch TV. Or I want to go to the toilet I can't do that with PS4.
- Nintendo is known to make kid friendly and causal friendly games that are actually pretty fun for expierienced gamers also, like Mario Kart. I want to play sth which we will all enjoy with my family. Plus it's great that they have this 'share the fun' theme going, like the fact you get two controllers in one package.
- I'm completly bored with mainstream games like recent FPP and TPP titles (Horizon is the only exception) cause I've played enough of them. It may be my age but I'm having trouble finding a game that will interest me in those line ups. I want to enjoy immersive and unique Nintendo games, mostly their jRPG and TBS games. Consoles like PS4 can only give me similar games only to some extent, but I won't find Zelda, Fire Emblem or Pokemon RPGs on them.
- I like cool graphics, but I enjoy stylish and clean graphics more, so 'it has poor innards' argument does not repel me

GOT IT!
And it's awesome! Everything feels solid and sleek. It's 'switchability' is even more awesome then I expected. I can change it from portable to stationary in a matter of seconds. Interface is clean and functional.
When it comes to downsides I must say the left joycon problem is real, it really does have an input lag (in grip mode so far), and it's not rare. While playing Zelda I've already lost it for a brief moment a couple of times. And by lost it I mean sth that is noticable cause the movement stick is there (it might be really troublesome in heated battles I'm afraid). I wonder if they will fix it via patch (they supposedly already fixed the de-sync issue with day one patch)?

If you'll have a chance try it somewhere. Although I bought it blindy pictures and reviews can describe how good it feels in reality.
