More creatures!
The game needs more creatures and teams!
The old game (HoMM3) had alot more teams and creatures!

No. I guess with teams you ment alligments. In H4 there are *only* 6 but they are balanced. And creatures:
They are much more than just stats now w/ every creature having a special ability and you can almost divide the number of them in H3 by ~1.5 because of the upgrades, which coused the unupgraded ones to be almost useless. Tis case is the most common with Lv 7 because I always don`t want to lose a good fornothing behemot ot giant. It would soon become an allpowerfull ancient or titan

I like that they have removed the updgrades, of course but they should have made more maps at least. HoMM 2 had VERY many.

For now that is more than enough creatures in the game. And as was said above, towns are well balanced. Maybe they'll add some things in the patches but even without it game looks just fine. First I also was disappointed that they removed a lot of creatures.

Give me this
The creatures we seen now (most of them)
REALLY SUCK AND ARE HUMAN AND UGLY snow!
Homm3 best creatures were forgotten....
Manticore/Basilisk/Gorgon/Lich/Dark Knight and all those others! Magog/Lizardman/Blabla
Every town has stupid boring humans in it..
Even the asylum that is suppose to be ANTI human
And every creature a special ability?
wahahaahhahahahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahahaha
aahaahahahhaahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaahahha
Don't make me laugh!
What about:
Nomad/White Tiger/Sprite/Monk/Orc/Wolf and MANY others...
They just have a copy! of other moves. THEY Said that all creatures had UNIQUE special abilities... Wow! White Tiger! What a special ability! Almost every creature has that ability...

Not necessarily abilities, but something that gives them an icon in their profile. For example, sprites have no retaliation, so that's considered an ability, and wolves have a double attack. Not every unit has those. Flying is not considered an ability btw.

Well I have over 100 creatures I always use in town proposals... And all 100(and over) have a OWN special ability..... I don't know why 3DO(Game artists) can't do this aswel....
It's just stupid...

I think that 6 allignments is not enough... there should be 8 or over, some new... others mixed old ones! But there's enough creatures!

Still, more creatures....
I think there should be one more creature level. I also think that order should also have a few creatures except from the ones that you can buy in towns.

I suppose they could add fire air water earth stereotype back in, but that would mean a lot of work and changes, which isn't likely.
Adding a new alignment.. It won't be easy. I'd be happy to just have a couple of new units without a town.
Or maybe some new town type but it's linked to the campain only so it doesn't interfere with the existing alignments. Or this new town is not allied with anything (sort of like Might), so it doesn't affect the others.
It will be difficult nonetheless. Wait and see what they do.

I agree with Wesley, the creatures we seen semed like the same, keep on using first strike........
There should be more abilities!!And so,should introduce more creatures!!
Even though you think that the game is balanced,I'm not at all satisfied, but,if there are more creatures, you can think of new strategies on your own~~~
That would be real fun,and I like more legendary creatures~~
Where is my CHARIBIS and CHIMERA??

I also think we need more aligments. One of my old idea was to make 8 aligments (towns):
Neutal Good (Haven)
Lawful Good (Academy)
Chaotic Good (Preserve)
Neutral Evil (Inferno)
Lawful Evil (Necropolis)
Chaotic Evil (Asylum)
Lawful Neutral (Stronghold)
Chaotic Neutral (Fortress)
Also the creautre level should be increased to five (you have to choose even with lvl 1) and get the Preserve rid of animals (wolfs and tigers). Those two (and bears, eagles etc.) can be only summoned.

Cool ideas!
Cool ideas!
That Lawfull evil and stuff!
But I think there should also be a neutral town(Sea Town)
and a What about the abyss drow town? There are just to many evil guys.... The undead have the necropolis, the demons the inferno, and the leftovers the asylum???? no! There should be 2 choatic evils!
Abyss and Asylum
Abyss hold creatures that hate nature and are dark version of the preserve(Dark elf,Dark Dwarf and Dark Ent) and the asylum is more into warlock creations,(Minotaur, flayer,Manticore)
I think those two must be Neutrall evil
And Inferno should be Choatic evil.

No Doom, please..
Doom doesn´t fit with the rest of HoMM. Pistol guy? Are you serious? HoMM is a little bit more mediaeval than that. Do you want it to be like in Etherlords or what? That game is a little bit strange... First we have a team with orcs and rats and then a team with mega-cyborgs and stuff. No HoMM is NOT ment to be high-technological (except from the dragon golems but they are ok).

Of course I wasn't serious. But, man, I miss those Doom creatures. What a cool, memorable gang.
<Minutes passed...>
Seriously, the reason I think HOMM4 has 6 alignments instead of 8 is that the number of alignments are restricted by things like alliances and the number of magic schools. If there had been 8 alignments, there would have been 8 schools of magic needed, and alliances would have been more complicated.

Hmm, you do acctually have a point.
It might also be because the game is in 3d now too.
It might take to much time to edit every character in 3d.

Heh, kevyip! When I first saw your doom town I thought you were sarcastic against the love against creatures me, Weasley and others have. *sigh* DooM, DooM, DooM... *sigh* I still play that game sometimes.

No sarcasm intended. That was just my way of marveling at how easy it would be to "adapt" material from a totally different game into HOMM.... The Doom gang seems tailor-made for HOMM, it appears. Except for the overabundance of range attackers.
