aye very sorry about that man just literally haven't had time to mess about online, I also owe a big apology to AlHazin for flaking on a mod project,
my girlfriend's dad has an aggressive motor neurone disease unfortunately and we've been spending our time to deal with the palliative care, so still can not be active much for the moment, cheers for looking out though old mate!

WTF happened in this thread while I wasn't looking.
Look, you're an interesting guy who makes good points and has fresh ideas when you're not high so I like reading your posts. When I browse a thread and I see a post from Sal or artu that I can skim for the information in five seconds, I check them. When I see your posts I'm like "Ooh, freddy!" but if it's one of those cryptic wordsearch ones that will take me fifteen minutes to get a clue, I'm going to have to skip it. I simply don't have that kind of time.

Ever thought there might be better ways of doing it? If what you're aiming for is "I made it this clear and concise and they still didn't get it, they must be stupid."-feeling of accomplishment then yea, that's the way to go. But if what you're looking for is actually getting your point understood(not agreed with, important distinction) across, there could be improvements to be made.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results after all.

i'm not writing anything in aramaic. it's english, ffs. if my posting style bothers you, then don't read my posts. but don't think that you can create a thread to "teach" a man in his late 30s who's been reading adult novels since he was 7, and who used to write stories and poems for years, how to type clearly and concisely; and not be called out on your bullsnow. this whole thread was a bait thread, and it was an attempt to ridicule me because you didn't like what i posted(or my stance, or whatever it was) in the mass shootings thread.
your timing of the op, and the pompous and arrogant ridiculousness of this thread makes it quite obvious what your intent was, here. i have no doubts whatsoever of it's malicious nature. you can hide behind that half-assed veil of innocence all you want, but it doesn't change the truth.

if you can't put two and two together, about how it was arguing for 20+ pages in the mass shooting thread that was the reasoning for joonas creating THIS thread, i don't know what to tell you. i mean, ffs. look at the timeline, man.
joonas and elvin are close friends. they've met irl, and they do a lot of friend stuff together. which was something i wasn't aware of, beforehand.
regarding THIS thread, i HAVE foreknowledge(and so should you, if you were following everything that was going on). so your comparison in this matter, is wrong.

Let me also point everyone to the CoC, where singling out any member in a provocative nature is not allowed. Even if JoonasTo's attempt by his own words isn't meant that way, Fred perceives it as such.
I would like to request everyone to just take a step back and take a breath or two. It's obvious things are somewhat tense; taking a short time-out might loosen things up a bit here.

I've seen threads with better intentions and an incomparably more eloquent OP that got closed for painting a target on a member's back (husham, frostysh).
Cases with a far better arguments that could've been made an example of and established as a precedent weren't made so (for a very good reason).
I've seen standout members like JJ using similar emphasis methods, no one complained or pointed fingers.
I did it myself in the Heroes 7 thread at times, wasn't said anything.
Any "advice" or pointing out I had I did in private, not in public.
So my question is: how is this thread not closed yet? Fred is obviously not okay with being called out for his posting style, and I can't see why he should be (although, don't get me wrong, I think there's great advice in this thread, but it ultimately comes down to freedom of expression, especially when it does not conflict in any way with the COC).

i don't have a problem with this thread existing, or even unlocked. imo, it's a blatant reminder of the kind of mentality i am constantly up against. everything that has been argued in this thread against me, only serves to prove my point; and strengthen the resolve of what i already know. that anyone doesn't see the truth of what i have said, is their problem. i have no doubt though, that they'll see the truth if they clear their heads of any misgivings, and actually attempt to follow what i'm saying.
the proof is there for anyone who wants to look. it should take no more than 5-10 minutes for anyone to see that i'm not talking out of my ass, here. i mean, this thread is proof in itself, ffs. there's nothing wrong with how i communicate with others. i make myself crystal-clear.
