I really wanna make an RPG, but it's soooooo tedious. Plus, making custom scripts - no idea how to do that.
Speaking of which...
If I were to make an RPG, what would the main theme be?
1. Horror and mystery
2. Exploration and adventuring
3. Epic fights with even more epic bosses
4. Puzzle solving
5. Politics and intrigue

I am really inspired by Last Scenario and Exit Fate, both made by the same dude and both excellent games with excellent narratives and plot twists, not to mention the very memorable characters. I recommend you play them

Ohhh, the Last Scenario battle system reminds me of what I wanted to do in my first project. Sadly, never got around to finish it due to a mixture of undefined mechanics, lack of graphic skills and too generic story (as well as many infantile quips). I'm still attached to it tho, and me and my brother always plan to eventually remake it properly.
Let's stay on the topic once more, what is the main topic of my current solo project?
1. Simple horror
2. Parody of the usual RPG tropes with a clueless protagonist
3. State politics and the implications of evil wizardry in statecraft.
4. Interaction between magic and technology in a futuristic world
5. A classic story of good and evil with a mature protagonist
6. Classic demon lord hunting.

Ahem, you know that... Sounds like a great idea! However I have neither the ability nor the will to create the colossal amount of assets required for an harem game, I have high standards you know.
Ok, there's also the thing that publishing it will definitely give me some weird looks from my brother. Admittedly, although I enjoy the genre from time to time for some mindless fun it's too cheap for me.
Aaaaaaaanyway, it's 2 currently, I was kinda sad I didn't have the skills to complete my hybrid of 3 and 5, so I started this trainwreck of a drunk guy becoming the legendary hero of legend like two years ago when I first tried MV, due to my work habits I overhauled it two times so I'm still on the first part. Though, even if it is demential there is still some political intrigue in it.
But yeah, my dream is finally being decent enough to make my first idea a reality.

Count was right. It was 5. I have never owned a Malamute.
German Shepherd was the first dog I ever owned. Then came the Lab and the Terrier at the same time. American Eskimo was next, a big ball of fluff she was. Shar Pei was the last dog I owned.
