You should remove 3 of the answers. You have more answers than people playing.

No I meant remove 3 of the answers. As in go from 9 possible answers, to 6. Because we only have 5-6 people playing rn.

Alright, new rule:

Only five potential answers for each round.

These things are dragging on unnecessarily.

Edit: lol, even fred said to provide up to 5 answers in the OP.

Husham wins this round!

I view all non-phonetic scripts (Han, Linear A, etc.) as vastly impractical and greatly time consuming. They severely hinder communication and have in the past limited it to just a few select classes. Of course, literacy used to be no cheap asset everywhere, however the great time and effort required to master the hundreds upon thousands of similar symbols and glyphs was not seen as a worthwhile investment by the common folk, since it was of no practical use to them and hiring a tutor cost quite the fortune. Thus these scripts are rather self-defeating in their purpose when compared to the more modern scripts, as they only enable written communication up to a certain degree. Of course, these scripts possess a much more powerful aesthetic presence than the rest which has led to the establishment of the fine art of calligraphy, but as a tool of conveyance of thought onto a sheet or stone they hold little value.

Braille was the meme option. Not easy to implement and hard to differentiate between the different letters. An above average sensory system is essential to the understanding of the script. Probably only useful to the blind.

The Phoenician writing system revolutionised the ancient world and greatly expanded the use of written language, but as with all innovations, the first one isn't usually the best. No vowels? Really? Were those people OK? Same goes for Hebrew.

The ancient Greeks reworked the doings of the Phoenicians and finally something sensible emerged! Unfortunately, several very important phonemes are lacking of their own letter in this system while the course of history has made the use of up to 4 letters redundant. How many 'i's and 'o's do you need? And you have no single letter dedicated to 'ts', despite using it all the time? Pathetic.

Latin, though a bit less redundant, is just soyboy Greek. Still no letter for half a dozen phonemes.

That leaves us with Cyrillic and Glagolitic only. The original versions of both scripts contained the chad 48 letters each (Cyrillic being a plainer Greek-style reskin of the more time consuming to write Glagolitic). Pretty much every phoneme had a letter, even those weird nosy sounds some people from Central Asia make, and there was also room for 2 or 3 auxiliary ones. As time passed, Slavic people stopped making weird pipe noises so many letters disappeared (quick remark aimed at those same people from Central Asia: stop putting dots and whatnot around the letters, there are many perfectly fine symbols that already exist).

So why do I think these 2 scripts are superior to the rest? Because you can write down pretty much anything except Bushmen clings without a sweat, no catches, no bull****, no squiggles, 1 phoneme per letter. And if you use Cyrillic, you'll be able to do it during your natural life span (Glagolitic looks hotter, though, and is completely original). And if you, for some reason, need to convey some weird, c*ck-sucking noises- just revert to Old Church Slavonic.

Of course, full credit goes to the men who developed these scripts (and whose ethnic nationality is subject to armed conflict)- St. Cyril (and St. Methodius, presumably) for the Glagolitic and their disciples St. Kliment, St. Naum and others for the Cyrillic alphabet.

Wew, that reply took me quite a while, and I even forgot to write down to an answer to my former post.

TL;DR: The Vatican has no reason to exist as a sovereign state, the 'Gift of Constantine' is full of ****, religious leaders should have no political power and the Bank of the Vatican is the single legal institution used for such large scale money laundering (other than the Fed... and ICBC... and a lot of other big banks and tax havens).

Kosovo is also a meme country, but Americans pay good money to recognize it. There are no Serbs left there now anyway, so NoobX will have to bring out the big guns to bribe me.

Canada's a joke, but it is real. I know a guy from there.

There are Serbs living in Kosovo, they're just being repressed, expelled or straight up butchered in their homes and their organs harvested and sold.  Serbian churches, monasteries and graveyards are being vandalized.  Not that I give a rat's ass, I am in no way a patriot, but this tension and constant animosity is not good any way you look at it.
