Meads! Me like! We have quite a long tradition of making those here in PL. We either name them based on the honey proportion, historic regal names or some ecclesial naming. Didn't see one named after a battlefield, especially Zalgiris, or the so-called Grunwald  Although the one you mentioned seems to be a "tad" stronger. As in "distilled from" strong. We also have those ofc, it is called Miodula for instance. I sense some historical co-relation between our nations when it comes to making mead and honey based drinks. And drinking it ofc
I would love to try a Lithuanian one. I'll keep my eye on the one you mentioned, maybe I will have a chance to pick it up somewhere.

I still have fond memories of making 4 gallons of mead in my uni accomodation. I have no idea what percentage it turned out to be, but my god it was easy to chug and was defo 15%+.
None of the Europeans, African or English students wanted any of my booze (told em like 100% this aint goddamn mooshine literally nothing I can do to screw it up, at worst there could be bacteria in the batch during fermentation, but that would be obvious and still not cause anything 'Bad' sure ruin the drink's flavour but about it).
Anyhow, the Americans are the only ones that drank and loved it.
