Isn't Heroes 5 the game where loading saves or trying to complete the big maps fails most of time? I mean, I just looked at comments from mapsforheroes, took the first 4-5 most played (they try) and the overall tone is depressing. Crash, crash, crash.
Also I remember loading saves on normal maps took me up to 30 seconds, sometimes more, what is even to discuss about which is better game. Who cares if a car has nicer body or better engine if driving it is so uncomfortable.

For this type of game, strategy with a map view, 2D designs with a fixed point of view is ideal.
The graphics style of Homm 5-7 looks busy, noisy, confusing, convoluted, unfocused and gets in my way. Most of the units look unbearably detailed and ugly.
yep. Heroes 5 is not bad from a strategic point of view (I really like the skill system), but the graphics is what keeps me from playing it more. Also, the creatures' design is also not to my liking, but I'm assuming this is because of the 3D aspect. I like the pit lords, though, with that cut sword
