This mod also changes gargoyl dwellings on the global map.

There is a little bug in this mod, with low texture resolution settings, this creatures icons wouldn't show properly in the game.
Unfortinaly I haven't got a time to fix this bug at the moment.

Chakram dancers

This mod replaces, dungeon second tier creature with a chacram dancers.
(I didn't work to balance this creatures at all, my goal was to adopt h6 model to h5 as perfectly as possible)

the chacram dancer's model was originaly created by heroes6 team. it was taken from heroes 6 game, and was modified and adopted to heroes 5 by me zahar0z (or zahar).



their shot looks like spinning chakra in the game.

Retexture of four heroes.

I guess, the name speaks for itself.
I hope you would be able to recognize those heroes without hint.




I done this mod years ago. Now I see some stuff could be done better. But, anyway at the moment I'm not planning to return to this mod in order to improve it.

Kha-beleth move animation fix

I decided to upload ad old mod, that i made by psatha's request for NHF mod

This mod fixes Kha-beleth move animation on global map.
I simply re-rigged Kha-beleth on titan skeleton, so now this model can use all animations from titan, including ofcource move animation.
this mod only replaces kha-beleth model on global map, his models on hero screen and combat arena are stays old.
mod shoud be compatible with vanila and NHF


This mod might be useful for you if you create mods yourself, since you can take this model with full set of animation and reskin it or add some parts as effect-models etc.

Sanctuary creatures from heroes 6 and some dark messiah creatures

Those are NCF creatures I done years ago.
There is also a demo version of sanctuary town within the archive.

Not all, for now only kraken, sea elf, black guards, lizardman, shantiri Titan, shantiri golem, elven deers and maybe mermaid.
Yes, one pack, that was the plan.

By the way here is a little update

I ported a neutral creature selection symbol from heroes6 to heroes5.
By the way the inner and outer rings of this symbol rotating independently.
I never really liked vanilla neutral selection symbol in heroes5. So I was glad to fix this little stuff along the way.
Pleace write what do you think, shood this selection change mod be optional addition to new creature mod, or it shood be part of the creature mod?

P.S. There is a real ghost town here on the forams, aren't it?))

I think white color suits neutrals more than blue,so the homm 6 looks better for me too. Others might not share the same opinions though.

I think there are people on the forums but only few have accounts and prob even fewer reply to posts, so it seems like no one is here.

Did you? I didn't receive anything. I don't think it's worth hunting and deleting your old threads, what I will do is make this one sticky as soon as there is download links.

Anyway, great thread here! This is a very good idea, the models from H5 are very old, and you seem to make a nice selection among the H7 ones.
I wonder if there could be some collaboration with H5.5 mod?

Yeah I did tried to send a few messages to you. But I guess they were lost for some reason. Anyway. If you think there is no real need to delete old threads so be it.

I also wanted to ask if there is any way to use spoilers here on forums, since they wery useful in organizing big posts with big amouth of information.
I tried html code <details><summary></summary></details>. But here it didn't worked out for me.
If somebody can help me with spoilers here it would be wery great.

I will also, as I promised before, post all of my old decent finished mods here as soon as I find time for it.

This new neutral creature mod i'm working on now is a NCF based mod (it adds new neutral creatures without replacing any old) so no I guess it woud'nt be compatible with H 5.5. To be honest I don't know much about 5.5 mod and I don't know if there is any way to add new creatures without replacing old in 5.5. Also to be honest it kinda frightens me that 5.5 had this sorta monopoly on h5 modding.

Yes I was making star wars mod. At the moment that project is more dead than alive. Unfortinaly there is a strong possibility star wars mod will newer be released.

P.S.few weeks ago I finished a full and simple tutorial about importing new models and animation in h5. At the moment it is avaliable only on Russian, but I will translate it and post it here on forums in the near time. As soon as finish this neutral creatures mod.

MMH5.5 does not natively support NCF but there is an NCF Utility that supports MMH5.5 to add NCF creatures: https://www.moddb.com/mods/heroes-v-new-creature-framework

I don't understand why you'd say MMH5.5 has a "monopoly" on H5 modding. Being popular and having monopoly are two *very* different things...

Thanks, but those are original H7 and DM models I did very little work with them. So credits and your apreciation shood go to H7 and DM teams rather than me)

I didn't mean that H5.5 actualy had monopoly, I meant that I have strong impression that it had.
Basicaly at the moment I don't interested in H5.5 at all. Once these creature mod relesed, I would be glad if somebody make an addition to my mod, in order for it to be compatible with 5.5.
But I wouldn't be glad if H5.5 team just grab this mod and put in H5.5. Althou I can't stop them anyway, so that doesn't matter.

Unfortunately there is no spoiler function in HC. You can request the admin about it either directly or via the Turban Tribunal but in the meantime you can make thumbnails, like Sal did for the plethora of ERA mods for H3.

Not really. At the moment I plan to port only shantiri golem and probably mermaids. (I'm not planing to port elven deers anymore) Then this pack would be finished and released.
But I plan to create 3 version of golems thou (not upgraded, upgraded and alt upgraid), and one of them (alternative upgraid, called reforged ancient golem) would be academy looking golem (the idea is that silver sites mages reforged ancient wrecks of shantiri golem to create this unit) so you might say I indead plan to use one h7 faction unit as neutral here.)

Golem from M&MH7 soon will join this pack. They using models and animations from H7.
And it would be the last units for this pack (unfortinaly I wouldn't do mermaids at the moment, just too tired)

Basic golem unit will be recolored in green and brown tones (to resemble shantiri Titan more).
It would be called "ancient golem" it's upgraid would be called "flaming golem"
and alt upgraid would be called "reforged golem".

The idea behind this 3 units is that they are all ancient shantiri golems, only the gold one was rebuild from wrecks by wizards from the silver sites.



Would love to hear to your thoughts and suggestions about these creature's characteristics and abilities.

Also I'm planing to release an optional standalone mini-mod, that replaces original golems from H5 with these golems.


Also, one more little update.
Changed the size of neutral creature's selection symbol.
Here is comparisment, at the left - new size, at the right - old

Some updaits.

Titan strike effect


Titan range attack effect (made by Frozensoull)


Basic ancient golem reskin (made in substance painter)


The idea was to make him look more similar to ancient shantiri titan


And here is a new boss creature - legendary kraken.


Althou he is simple 2x2 creature (3x3 size is really bugged in the game) this kraken boss is still quite huge.
Here is his comparisment with other "tall" creatures in the game


This boss creature will not appear on maps as neutral creature, but instead it can be found guarding skunken temple.
