That scene where they leave the mansion like a shooting star, with Beatrice repeatedly calling his name.. Is the author aware how this looks and sounds 
Echidna must be extra pissed now, losing her contract to Beako. Actually what happens to the witch pocket plane? Will it still be accessible or gone forever?
After the bunny conclusion, we're left with the coronation, Pandora and the archbishops. I'd imagine that the gluttony guy will have to come before the coronation because Crusch would otherwise be out of the race and that'd be sad. And then there was the dragon that Roswaal wanted to kill, which might be tied to the coronation. I wonder where we're headed next.

The scene is a bit off putting... I mean they only "signed a contract" (I don't know if formally), yet the usually sarcastic Beako sounds totally like not herself and yeah, like they were having "good time".
Well, Re: Zero does have those ecchi moments (remember Echidna and Roswaal kiss?), it's still an anime at heart.
That said seems like next episode will be the last?
PS: What makes you think there will be a coronation? Isn't it still far off?

Last episode was great, loved it to bits.
Subaru finally finds the winning play and pulls through it in one go no less. No casualties, wins even more people over, Sanctuary down, trials complete... Sasuga, Subaru. Giant middle finger to Echidna's whole manipulative show. Get rekt.
But honestly I was more impressed by the complete breakdown of Roswaal. It's not even funny. This guy put absolutely everything, EVERYTHING on the line, and lost it all. He lost his main purpose for living 400 years represented by the that Tome of Knowledge. Bye bye contract with Echidna. He lost his nefarious influence over Emilia, Ram, Beatrice and the Sanctuary. He lost his henchmen who he commissioned to raid the mansion, losing that too in the process. Imagine this guy who gets praised by Puck for his unparalleled skill taking a bet against this crybaby, powerless, noob Subaru and losing so spectacularly. It's on another level. I bet his soul was about to leave his body when he sat there in the snow, slowly realizing the magnitude of his defeat.
What this season brought to the table was a paradigm shift for a lot of the important characters. For this reason alone, everyone who lost to Subaru is actually a winner.
Emilia finally moves on from the shackles of her past and strengthens her resolve to pursue the future.
Roswaal and Beatrice lose their connections to Echidna who was using them for her selfish interests.
Garf confronts his feelings and leaves the Sanctuary, reunites with his sister and gets to slay some vampire ass in his werecat form.
Otto cements his friendship with Subaru, not standing out but playing MVP roles to keep things moving in the right direction.
Damn. Looks mighty fine from a top isekai contender. Mad props to the writer for this rollercoaster at the very least on par with the first season. Hopefully we'll get that delicious director's cut again so I can rewatch it at some point.

Nice summary you actually made me realize how well it all clicks (again, cus it's a staple in this series). I wonder how much of this was Subaru's plan and how much he "went with the flow".
With all the "support characters" subplots resolved (except Rem) I think we can finally move on to something bigger, prolly fights with the Cult and maybe big scale politics.
