That said the show feels different. I mean it's still good but definitely different.
Spring season looks pretty packed. Not that many "must-watches" but I'll probably need to trimm my backlog.
100% watches:
- BnHA 5th season
- Dragon, Ie wo Kau
- Fruits Basket Final
- Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Omega
- Fumetsu no Anata e
- Yuukoku no Moriarty S2
Interesting and highly probable watches
- Vivy
- Megalo Box 2
- Mars Red
- Edens Zero
- Mairimash-ita! Iruma-kun 2nd Season
- 86
- Sentouin, Hakenshimasu!
- Subarashiki Kono Sekai the Animation

Lol man, it's literally just a matter of browsing here https://myanimelist.net/anime/season/2021/spring and reading the descriptions/watching PV's (plus selecting series you've watched in the past and liked them).

Damn, I 9/10'ed Mushoku Tensei. No low hanging fruit in the last few episodes. The trio feels great and I really like where they're going with it. Very hyped for the next season!
That said, the new wave of anime is almost upon us. After briefly skimming through the titles, I think I have my initial list, even if a bit short right now:
- Noku no Hero Academia 5, basically the go-to shonen series of current times.
- Fruits Basket: The Final, which I already had an interest in, planning to watch and finish the series.
- Shaman King (2021), I watched this as a kid and am quite fond of revisiting those old memories with this updated take.
That said, there's probably others worth a shot. Will have to look more into it later. There's also catching up to do with some series from current season. Slime and Log Horizon come to mind, although I've considerably trimmed my expectations.

I'll be honest with you: while I do enjoy Slime I can somewhat agree with what some people say is its main issue this season - it lost a bit of it's "slice of life" charm in favour of edgyness, and the whole invasion plotline while satisfying to watch is the most cliched plot mechanisms you can find in fantasy animu. I would lie if I said I don't like these mechanics in some stories (I still have a bit of that childish edginess in me), but watching it for the 100th time in anime brings about fatigue.
Log Horizon S3 is plain boring I'm afraid. I don't know if the series was always like that or it's me.
In other news I encourage you guys to keep an eye on Dragon, Ie wo Kau. From what I gathered it has potential to be something pretty original and fun. And yeah, they got me at "Dragon..." XD
PS: And yeah the only thing that kept me from giving Mushoku T a 10/10 is that it was missing something from being perfect for me. I don't know maybe it's the fact the story is still in it's early stages while I crave for something more dramatic in character interactions and hope it will deliver on that part (and I also have some good bit of information that it will).

* Attack on Titan mild spoilers *
Zeke's whole premise for his plan is that the founding titan can alter everyone's bodies to never give birth again, therefore ending the titan race and the misery they inflict upon everyone including themselves.
I might be crazy here, but I think I have a better idea, so hear me out. What if they could use the power of the founding titan... to never turn into titans again... Why wouldn't that work out more favorably?

Me unhappy, back to crepe animu... another 4+ years of wait for sequel
EDIT: The final S2 episode made me feel all fuzzy inside.
Wonder what hell they will let loose on Subaru next time we meet him
PS: Sigh, my life will become shallow without this and Mushoku to look forward to each week...

I'm already a little sad. Oh well, my schedule already needed some revisions. Umineko VN still has a lot of content to go through and I have not watched dr stone, beastars s2 or log horizon s3 for some weeks now. Also not started mushokou tensei or jujutsu kaisen.
PS Puck wins this episode

10/10. Not even a question.
Word on the street is that this season (both part 1 and 2) was worth 32 episodes of normal air time. We got spoiled. I hope they keep the format for the next one because it's so damn satisfying.

Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san
is really, really solid for what it is. It's a comedy with some very slight slice of life/romance in it. Totally shounen but well done. If those are your thing, check it out.
I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level
Is a standout series as well. Worth checking out. It's just lighthearted stuff.
Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu
is a josei isekai. They're pretty much all worth reading and this one was no different. It's no doubt worth watching as well. Really chill.
Jouran: The Princess of Snow and Blood
sounds like it could be really, really good too. Depending on how it's executed. Original works always have that special spark.
Super Cub
I've been stalled on the manga but not for the lack of quality, rather lack of efficient time. It's the kind you read a chapter here and there while chilling with a cup of tea when there's a blizzard outside. Done right, this might be really good. Done wrong, it's totally boring. Art will decide a lot.

Fumetsu no Anata e
...was a stellar manga at the beginning but it soon devolved into a boring shounen fest. I doubt anime will be much different. Just hoping they will stick with the early stuff for as long as possible and do the start justice. The synopsis is totally misleading btw. That's going to last maybe for an episode and change direction.
Sentouin, Hakenshimasu!
Is from the same author as Konosuba so you know what you're getting in for. It's bloody brilliant btw.
For Summer the How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom is really good. Both the manga and the Novel. If the anime is done right it can turn out pretty damn well. It's not a novel idea but the characters are damn solid.
and of course more Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon.

Yeah I forgot to mention this one. I usually ommit short format, but the premise looks interesting.
Btw what's the deal with the recent popularity of "Zootopia"-esque animes

That's not good. Was hoping for something extraordinary, but the second trailer did put me off a bit and now you confirm it's so-so.

PV looks crazy and funny, and that's why it got me interested
PS: Seems I also have a sort of "backlog" in Netflix:
- B the Beginning S2
- High-rise Invasion (seen one episode and it's nothing spectacular but been I while since my last "battle royale/survivor" anime so I might continue)
- Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan (Jojo spinoff)
