Well, actually it's a pretty accurate description of a current problem - science becomes scientism. HAS become so already. You don't believe that? Google physics and crisis. Theories have a lot of inertia in the face of "divergent" data. We are "defending" theories and models instead of trying to formulate new ones that fit with the data.
Has been different hundred years ago.

Scientism is a mad religion. You dno believe God but you belive all told by scientist. One-track mind
Its madness because religion is to believe science to mind!

There is such a thing called scientism of course and that is when you address science in matters you shouldn’t. But that’s stuff not regarding factual knowledge but subjective values. However, when somebody starts to complain about scientism, it’s usually not about an intellectual breach of science in the fields of personal preference, philosophy, or artistic expression, it is usually about some half-educated dumbass trying to promote religion in matters that are exactly in domination of scientific method, such as how did life occur or how did the universe start. These are questions about the observable factuality around us and the only reliable answers are indeed produced by science. Religion is cultural indoctrination, it’s understandable that masses attach their identity to their ancestors but trying to deduct universal knowledge from such attachment always ends up in talking non-sense. So, if it’s not some exceptionally high-brow envorinment but your usual internet forum, when somebody starts talking about scientism it is mostly followed by evolution denial or some similar kind of crap and you better start running without looking back.

Yes Its scientism religion and other pagan cultes. But christianity only true religion is not ,cultural' phenomen. We have a lot of various cultures with christianity. Eg. african christianity and Poland looks like two different religions but its the same Church. Because its not cultural but spiritual experience. So we have inculturation. A lot of cultures and one Church.
In christianity ,cultural, traditional, folkloristic" way of church is wrong. Its patology! Always must be deep spirituality and its true Church.

No. One who doesn't know why the Church built in Russia. When archaeologists found ruined church, they said 50-100 A.D has built, they said it means also building year took 100 years. No nobody knows about builders or where about they came to Russia. Disagreement with the Bible.

Yes maybe eg. In Crimea is one old church? Because its not far from Palestine. But it doesnt mean thay christianity was there from 100 AC :0)))
Rus not Russia was founded X century by Vikings Slavs and Finns. And destroyed by Mongols. Present Russia is from Mongols.
