1)Just a couple of points, i see no need to spend hours writing a post that carefully tries to not anger anyone, as i think they end up pretty overworked, stale and dull.
2)Its probably just me but posts written straight from the head down into words, leaves it rougher but with more feeling involved. Anyways ive just been rambling the main thing that annoys me is long posts, filled with quotes after quotes intertwined with quotes. It makes it hard to see whats written by who.
3)Maybe if people numbered or marked each of there points a bit so its easier for others to talk about. I dont know but it always bugs me

For me the HC is partly dead as it doesn't have same feeling as it once had but that doesn't mean it's dead for the others.
As you can see I still visit it.

If there isn't anything to fight for the people wouldn't be posting here, right? RIGHT.

Nice Thread
Old though it may be, I've really quite enjoyed reading through it. It gives someone like me more insight into many of the old members' minds, who aren't around anymore. It also helps me compare past HC thought processes to the present. I can't say much is different. People still complain about the demise of HC and the lack of posting. Some are optimistic and some aren't. Ah well.
My own personal opinions of this community haven't changed from absorbing this, but I've certainly broadened my understanding of its earlier years.
I'm curious to know what will happen in the future. So far so good , And what about those hugs? Do I get one too?

Certainly an interesting thread. And it has relevance today as well. It seems that HC is not like a man that suddenly falls over, dead. It's not even like a man who dies after a prolonged illness. It's like someone who is ill for a long time, and nearly dies, but then recieves some kind of artificial organ, and goes back to functioning until the next onset of the disease. And it nearly dies again, but it recieves another artificial organ. But the onsets grow more frequent. We can joke about the artificial resuscitation (ADAM), but it's real. At least HC is between onsets. We have to watch for the next one. Remember the seven warning signs of a heart attack, or HC may need an artificial heart. And then, like Theseus's ship, it will no longer be HC.
