Any number of allied and especially American soldiers can defeat infinite numbers of German troops, no mattter how good their formation was in the real war.
No matter what happened in the real war, if a movie has to have a German tank it will almost always be a tiger, and only rarely look like one.
Important characters will always take an eternity to die, usually making an inspiring speech on the way, extras die inside a nanosecond.
German troops will show no semblance of training or common sense, and rather just charge straight at the enemy firing wildly.
