Poll Question:
A simple wish
I want a button for buying all creatures in a town! Of course I still want to be able to pick what to buy, but when having a empty town with lots of creatures to recruit, I would like to recruit them all in one move!
Do you agree?

Great Idea
I definitely like ur idea as sometimes it's tedious to go through and hire every monster seperately. Only thing is, if u don't have enough cash will a portion of each creature stack be bought? Will higher level creatures be bought first until they can't be bought anymore, then to next highest level?
I propose that there be an option within each castle for this called 'buying precedence' where u will be able to set up the order in which creatures will be bought. After ur first creature stack is bought out or u cannot buy anymore it will go to the 2nd creature on the list, buy em and so on. therefore u can bypass creatures u wouldn't normally buy ahead of others (ie if u like archers or flyers better than slow units).

Also add the same button in 2 heroes exchange screen to transfer all creatures from one hero to another.(May be the same with artefacts)

Simple as changing the screens
Well it can be just as simple as not having to have 2 seperate screens to pop up, when you click on the picture that annoying slide bar and how much you spend screen wastes too much time.
Just needs to be where you can buy the troops if they are upgraded u can still have the option of buy non-upgraded. (which really makes no sense)
Get rid of all the sub-screens, all things should be controlled thru one master creature and dwelling screen for simplification, similar to the current Castle screen only enhanced.

Kres buddy, pal. I hate the slide bar too but I often need to buy unupgraded troops, even after i bought the upgrade. usually cause I havent upgraded the troops with my main so i still need to run out unupgraded troops to him. Yet I have bought the upgrade so that i can upgrade all the troops whenever I return with them. Plz dont get rid of all ways to buy unupgraded troops.

maybe we can have both....
well not exactly have both but what i mean is combining kres' idea and Jex's...
i totally agree that annoying little side bar is reall reall annoying...so instead when u click on the castle screen or wherever u recruit creatures in HOMM4 all the available creatures should be purchased there...and under the pic of the unit and on top of the stats we should include a radio button:non-upgrade and upgrade(or whatever names u guys fancy)...and when the button is pressed the pic changes...
the second idea is that we can have two units on the same frame....maybe we can see them training together?? when u click on the unit(upgrade or non-upgrade)u get to purchase that unit...if an upgrade for the unit is not available we can only see the unit training by himself(instead of posing, walking, getting hit, hitting someone, and blocking...they really look like an idiot)

the last idea was clever. although i dont like the idea of the buy all button. or it should have a pop-up "are you sure?" or you perhaps accidentally buy 35 black dragons.

and waste all of your sulphur or what ever they need the resource... i mean the point is maybe i want to give that guy in the tower 50 sulphur for him leting me through

Black Dragons
Whenever I am able to buy 35 Black Dragons, I will do so! But hey, we should still be able not to buy them all. Don`t really see this as a problem, we already have the opertunity to buy all 35 dragons in homm3. The idea would be to buy all the creatures in one town by pressing one button!

my point is this: you know in editor you can put these towers and edit their info like this: you have to bring the tower 30 sulphur and it will let you through. well if i already got 100 azures then i dont need black dragons and i need the sulphur for the tower and i have to dig the grail that is behind the tower in 1 week or i will fail. i mean if i accidentaly press it...

Well it's as simple as this... U RELOAD. I don't think that's a hard concept. Or we could have a confirmation button for people like u. Hell we could have two or three. ie"Are u sure want to click the button that click's the button to buy all troops?"
Anyways Matthy I'm just trying to get my point across so no offence.
I just really like the idea of a 'buy all creatures' button to speed up the game and ur reasoning is a little weak.

This ideas not very important anyway but what if you never had enough money to buy every troop. What order would it take the troops from 7 down to 1 or 1 to 7.Anyway this idea is very small and will probably be in 4 in any case. Most of the time though i dont think i would want the computer to buy up the troops for me i normally buy the troops that i need most the computer would not know what i wanted.
For instants say i wanted troops to guard a necro castle and never had enough to buy everything i would choose liches the computer would probably spend it all on 2 bone dragons or something like that. So this button would not be used a lot of the time anyways unless you had thousands of money.

Have to agree here. I hate all those "Are you sure you....?" messages. Lets have a "buy all" button, no "are you sure question!

well i think there should be a button. but if you dont like this idea, then pick on 3do for making the in-battle question "heroname feels that the powers are overwhelming. do you want to retreat?". ok, never mind the yes/no button i like the idea. but i agree to arachnid, how would it buy all the creatures it can, from 1-7 or from 7-1?

First, there should be an r u sure window because it takes just a sec to click the yes button.
Second, u could define ur priorities in what order to but and u could also fo like that: liches priority one, bone drags priority two, and vamps #3, so it goes like that: if 20 liches (# set by u) or max r bought it goes to priority 2, if 2 are bought then priority 3.
