That about hydras is a good idea,but i don't like them too much,although they have nice skills,but still they can't match dragons(all sorts),titans and of course not ARCHANGELS!!!! I think that manticores should be much better,what do you think???

Sorry I've been gone so long . . . my computer died!!!!
Well, I raised my computer back from the dead, so I have an undead computer! Cool. Doesn't seem any different, though . . .
Anyway, what I know about dragons is from a lot of reading. Some myths think that Black Dragons are the strongest, others red. Green are generally weak and small, for some reason. I don't know of many myths that say that there are good dragons, or maybe they just aren't nice to humans. Sorta like how bugs probably hate us. Hmmmmmm.
And humans have never beaten dragons in myth, except with some magical weapon or other magic. And usually it was a pathetic green dragon.
What I know about Chinese dragons is that they were so powerful, that during red moons (partial lunar eclipse) they swore that dragons were eating the moon. They were basically gods. Of course, that didn't keep them from trying to scare them away with fireworks. Lol.
As for the Champion vs. Dread Knight, it could go either way. Maybe the DK gets double damage or curse; perhaps the champion get a good (but for some @#$^ reason slow) charge attack. The cool part is that it all depends on odds and terrain, so we may never know who is stronger. But I put my money on the muther truckin' Dread Knight!!!
Other quickies:

!Pheonix vs. Ghost Dragons is cool, but I want a Fallen Angel (Yeah, I got the idea from an Incubus post)
!I wish I were an Incubus sometimes (not the Incubus, an Incubus)
!Unicorns vs. Nightmares is a given
!Finally, in Norse mythology Frost Giants kicked @$$. So an Ice Castle with Frost Giants would rule! (yeah, also from another post)

Sorry , forgot........
Is it just me, or does anyone else think that almost every early civilization having myths about dragons might have something to do with old Dinosaur bones? Maybe some knight/samuri brought in a head of a T-rex one day and said he killed it. Then it might of spread from there, or China, whatever. Just a thought.....
And hey, if I am still around when they start to replicate Dinosaure DNA, I will be the first on my block to have a genetically enginered tiny pet dragon! That would scare the crap out of the cat!

Dragon in China
Yes, dragons do appear in Chinese mythology.
- They are god-like creature. Never got defeated (at least to my knowledge).
- They are powerful, wise and mysterious.
- They are usually considered good creatures.
- They are symbol of the emperor.
- A lot of Chinese martial arts named after dragon.
(dragon, tiger, snake and eagle are most commonly used animals in Chinese martial arts)
I like Chinese dragons (but like homm titan more than homm dragons  ).
BTW, LordPaul, the monster that "eats" the moon should be some dog-like creature as I know. But forget the origin.

Defeat of dragons
Something just come up in my mind.
Yes, dragons do got defeated in Chinese methology. In the Legend of Monkey King (Sun-koo-kun), the underwater dragon king and his whole army of ocean creatures (crabs, shrimps and turtles etc) were defeated by a single monkey. The palace of dragon king was nearly demolished since one of its structural column was taken by the monkey and used as a weapon !
*** Luckily, the underwater dragon is not considered very powerful. It is just a "low-level" dragon. The greater dragon flying over the sky is stilled remained undefeated.

Okay, First off, I didn't know the ice castle idea was yours (if it is, IT IS A GOOD IDEA), and I thought the Fallen Angel idea kicked @$$!
But I said it would cool to be an incubus, not you. (no offense)
An incubus is an evil demon like entity that decends from... i don't know where... and sleeps with women while they're asleep. I just thought that would be a cool occupation! I bet the interview is kinda wierd though..
Oh, and so far the only powers my newly risen computer has is to scream at me and randomly freeze. Undead computers suck.

2 Frost Elf=This already death Elfs are frozen to death,But they seem to be back! They can shoot frosty Crossbow arrows that can sometimes make an frozen solid out of an enemie,There skin is blue and hair is white,always female.
3 Ice elemental=This is not the fish creature from the conflux town, This creature looks very different (like the ice creature from the hercules cartoon movie) They don't have many defence and are weak because there made out of ice, But if they die they explode and sharp crystals hurt the surrounding enemies.
4 Snow tiger=This Giant White 2 headed tigers, Are giant creatures they are also pet to the ice queen,they have two heads so they can attack 2 times.
5 Yeti=Some say they frozen trolls other say frozen sasquatch,This one looks like a sasquatch,He throws with giant snowballs,That explode on inmpact and also hurt others surrounding enemies.
6 frost Giant=Giant with ice axe, And Blue skin (frozen hear and beard)They Are guardians of many cold treasures,he can cast the spell blizzard that does damage and blinds enemies.
7 Artic bird=This is the most beautiful creature ever lived,A blue phoenix!He hates phoenix and does many damage to them,but the phoenix does it also to the artic bird,they have also the rebirth ability just like the phoenix.
8 Azure Dragon=Back from armageddon, This creatures aren't that strong anymore, They fallen down a little, BUT they are still the special creatures of the icy town,They can make a random enemie turn into a giant block of ice for a couple of rounds.

Uh, Incu said it wasn't his idea. I just didn't bother to check that thread before I posted. I had a fealing anyways...
Ah, screw this. Back to the original part of this thread. Creatue Battles. I had a few more ideas:
! Champions vs. Dread Knights
! Pheonix (bird that rises from the dead) vs. Ghost Dragon (undead dragon)
That was a good idea, whoever posted that (too lazy to check)
! Naga vs. Medusa
! Azure Dragons vs. HOMM4 Paladins
! Elves vs. Orcs (like in Lord of the Rings)
! Valerity vs. Pluvious
I'd like to see that last one!

Those are good choices for battles but I think Naqa will pull through. And I also think Pluvious would win Ill have to go with him. I really want to see Pikeman vs Centeur Captins that would be battle. Pikeman with the strenght and Centeur with the speed

I think that there are enough comparisons among better or the best creatures of all levels, so I would like to compare some of the weaker ones.For example: Scorpicores vs. Wyvern Monarchs
Scorpicore Flying Unit Description:
Attack 16 Specialtyaralyzing venom attack(20%)
Defense 14
Damage 14-20
Health 80
Speed 11
Cost 1050
Wyvern Monarch Flying Unit Description:
Attack 14 Speialtyoison attack(10% from overall H.P.)
Defense 14
Damage 18-22
Health 70
Speed 11
Cost 1100
Overall:I think that scorpicores will win 'cause they have much better specialty(but rare) and they have more H.P. which is crucial.
