I'm back for one day only!!!!!
Quick Thoughts:
Clutch Creature for each Town=
Castle -> Marksmen
Rampart -> Gold Elves
Tower -> Master Gremlins
Necropolis -> Vampire Lords
Fortress -> Mighty Gorgons
Stronghold -> Wolf Raiders
Dungeon -> Harpy Hags? (pretty even)
Inferno -> Cerebrus
Of course, these creatures won't help in the endgame. But in the beginning of the game they will help you take vital resources and kick enemy army butts. Later in the game, I agree with whoever that was (sorry, no time to check).
Dungeon is my favorite, but so is the Rampart. I'm weird that way. But it is easier to defend the Rampart, so I am usually sticking up for the Dungeon.
Inferno sucks. I'm sorry, little HP, weak Lv7 upgraded, Magogs suck, and so do Demons and Pit Lords. The only thing a Demon can take is an un-upgraded Swordsmen. Fortress bites, too. But it has speed (Wyverns first week  ) and is a major snow to invade. 
But the worst town by far is the Conflux!!!! Aaaaaaah!!! Few new creatures, level 2 is stronger than level 3, and the Storm Elemental takes more damage from lightning?! What the heck?!
Creature Rivalries should be in the same level, unless it only goes one way. Like having a Paladin do more damage to the level 10 dragons, and not vice versa.
Some creature rivalries I would like to see:
Elves vs. Orcs
Ghost Dragon vs. Pheonix
Fallen Angle vs. Angel
Green Dragon vs. Red Dragon
Peasents vs. Peasents (SUICIDE, it's the only way to go for this horrible unit...)
And does anyone else have the strange feeling that the Angel is going to be a level 10 neutral creature in HOMM4? Or is it just me? If recruited by a Necropolis or Dungeon it would turn into a Fallen Angel, but only be a little different.
Okay, I'll post again in about a week (...long story...), see ye then..........

Isnt there all ready a battle between Fire Elemtal and Water Elemental. I would think that Water would win since I love water creatures like Hydras and Krakens I also think there should be a water town in the game

LOl yeah that would be a nice battle or what If ill the newbies vs all the know heroes( Black Dragon, Sir Dunco, El Diablo, Archnaid, matthy, Anfi ) i cant think of any others but that would be crazy or What about battles from the versions of Homm

I made a test map, just to see what would happen with these matchups: (All are 9999 vs 9999)
AA vs. Titan: AA wins with ca. 300 left, due to first strike.
Naga Queen vs. Dread Knight: Naga Queen wins with ca. 3500 left, due to no retal.
Sharpshooter vs. Grand Elf: Sharpshooter wins with ca. 9500 (not a typo) left, due to first strike and much better damage. ShSh does avg. 9 damage per round, for 32 rounds. GE does avg. 4 damage per round, for 12 rounds. This is without Golden Bow, which would double damage but still change very little.
Archer vs. Gog: Gog wins with a few hundred left due to better HP. Lizardman finishes way behind both.
1 Azure Dragon vs. 10 Mighty Gorgons vs. 1000 Peasants:
Peasants beat MGs. MGs beat AD. AD beats Peasants.
MG vs. Minotaur King; Mg wins by a lot due to colossal death stare totals.

Whoa...
i haven't been on this site for so long...
so whats going on about the dragons?
I've read some Dragon Encyclopedia which tells you alot about them
1. Black Dragons are devious and selfish, they can be enticed to fight, but will often leave in the middle of battle to pursue their own aims
2. Red Dragons are malicious and also the most powerful dragon, however they are kinda stupid. Their idea of conquering includes, killing everything and taking everything... not much else. i mean if in a tatical game, what use are corpses to you?
3. Blue Dragons are the most easy to tame and breathe electricity. they also fight with tooth and claw, with the help of magic
4. Green Dragons will only fight when cornered and prefer to use magic other then their power, so... they are totally useless
5. Silver/Gold Dragons are both belevenant (Spelling... sorry) and use their powers for noble and good cause.
Try and find the book if you want to know more... also i will try and get more info if you want to know more...
if you ask me, black dragons and gold dragons should be the best
and an idea about Fallen angels
they should upgrade (3x)
Corrupt Angels > Fallen Angels > Dark Angels
and they could have a really good ability:
10% to turn the creature stack into yours for that combat only what do you guys think
and do you think when units attck that should do different animations every now and then

Inferno....
Okay, from what I've heard, everyone seems to hate inferno. let me say this: inferno does not suck! trust me on this, inferno is my favorite:
Imps, although weak, are cheap and you can get 40 per week with a castle and birthing pools. imps have a very high Bang For Buck (BFB) rating. Meaning, for their cost(buck), they can do good damage(bang). individually, no they arent good, but standing together they can knock the daylight out of just about anything.
Gogs, likewise, high BFB rating. Magogs are only annoying to ammetuers to inferno. the key to magogs is to plan your attack. timing. on their first turn, if no enemy units are bunched together, take a wait. don't rush magogs. the only downside to magogs is efreeti. despite the fact that efreeti are "immune to fire" and the discription of magogs attack is "fireball attack", you still can hurt your efreeti with magogs.
Cerberi, My favorite units! they deliver a great attack with no retaliation. very useful at the beginning, and when massed are useful thoughout the entire game. best of all, theyre very cheap!
Deamons, much like cerberi, deliver a solid blow. even in small numbers late in the game, they have the ability to turn a battle around. more expensive than cerberi, but theyre worth it.
Pit fiends arent very useful, being expensive and not much stronger than deamons...but pit lords a different story! resurrection ability much underestimated, these units can turn a battle around too.
Efreeti, probably my second favorite unit. although even on their own they can cause mass destruction, if you pair them with my favorite hero, (Surprise!) Rashka, they can totally wipe the battlefield clean!
Hmmm, what could I say about arch devils? low hp, yes, but no retaliation! that makes the arch devil, arch angel war a little more fair, considering the attack bonus with no AA retaliation...still, the angel-devil rivalry is quite unfair.
Have i made my point? you probably still think inferno sucks. oh well, theres no cure for bad judgement.
for other towns, rampart, dungeon, and castle, the local favorites. I do like dungeon, castle and rampart, but their values have sort of spiraled out of control. they arent exactly oodles better than the others. Stronghold, i dont really like, but i know its possible, just like all the other towns, in the right hands. fortress, hmm, i havent really gotten into fortress much. its okay. necropolis's units have cool side effects and can do good damage, but i still prefer inferno. watch everyone bombard me with flames about how badly inferno sucks once i post this. oh well, i dont really mind being the minority. we all have our own opinions.
gee, i really rambled on about everything, huh?
oh yeah, my favorite dragon is the gold dragon.
what about griffins vs. thunderbirds? the bird wars...a little unfair for griffins but still...
