@I: You don't get it when it comes to using armageddon do u ?
Never run around with only those fire immune creatures and then excpect to win a fight against a human opponent. If he is good, then he have something that counters you're arma, and you will die quick and soon 
Arma is best used against wandering stacks, to gain exp very quickly, It is also good for a first suprise attack on you're opponents, coz then he is not rdy, and have not done anything to make himself survive the arma.
BTW, if you play a n00b, then I guess arma all the time should be enough

rofl. I only play against AI all the time cos i have no1 to play against and thus I don't have any experience with playing against human players. But would be cool to play together with a great experienced player that knows everything bout heroes behind one comp
I bet some ppl on here are very good at it

There is a great difference between playing against AI and a human.
You should try it (it's much more fun )

I couldn't agree more, it's a lot of fun. Don't get demotivated if you lose some games, even the players who are now among the best lost almost every game they played when they first started. Try to find someone who teaches you to play online if you can find such someone. It could greatly help you understand which things you should do differently and learn you to survive online Good luck, and hope to see you online soon!

heh, i would like to play online... but main reason why i don't is cause i'm slooooow.... Maybe that's why i like the game that much... No speedy aiming/clicking required. Anyway, i always take all the time of the world when i'm playin H3. I'm considered newbie (by myself, after reading all stuff here) so for example, when battle, i am checking speeds of the units, make my desiscions what to attack... go outside for a smoke...
I'm sure that if there will be a 2 minute time limit i'm stressing and forgetting everything... (btw, how does this work when battling?? Just no time limit at all??)
Ya, i don't think human players would appriciate my playing style

As far as I learned from games I played online (not much yet  ), yes. The timer just stops when the battle occurs, and starts again when it's finished.
