REVIVED AFTER 3 YEARS OR SOMETHING
I Actually really like the Barbarian theme from HOMM2, and I also like the Grass music for HOMM2, it is really good, you know the music when you get on Grass Terrain yeah well that music is great.
I have the soundtrack file for that piece of music, and I can recreate it via a music making program, and I just love the way that piece of melodic music theme is set up.
Its brilliant.

I love all the music by Rob King and Paul Romero. I have even made a CD with MM 6,7,8,9, HoMM1,2,3,4 (and some tracks from H5) tracks in it. I even have the h2 succession wars barbarian town theme as my mobile's ring tone.
and Karin Mushegain (from h2, h4 and h5) has a divine voice. I can't believe she was only 17 when H2 was released. I wish her good luck in her career.

I think the music in H4 was good as well. I'll never forget the grass theme(?) you heard all the way through the Lysander campaign. When that's said I never really liked anything else of H4 besides the campaigns.
The grass theme of H2 is also very good. The music is good in all might and magic games I've played (5 in total). I don't know a game where the music creates so much atmosphere.
I like the rock themes of Battlefield Vietnam (that bass riff of the main theme is just so cool. Anyone knows who's playing it?).
The music from star wars games are of course also good since it has been taken from the movies.

i think the music in h4 was far more superior than in h3. I'm surprised to see that not so many people think so. Just take asylum and preserve themes, but the best theme in h4 is definitely water theme and perhaps this is the main reason why i like to play h4 maps with lots of water :-)

You're probably right. I never played H4 that much. I can only recall the theme I already mentioned, and yes, it is better than any H3 theme. Perhaps this is because I've played H3 so much. I think the music of Might & Magic VI and VII is even better. The 1st person view and the music really made up for the poor graphics. I've spent countless hours in the massive dungeons of especially MM6, I've not played a role game with an atmosphere nearly as good.

Do I have to choose only one favorite? 
1. Fortress (HoMM3) and Sylvan (HoMM5)
2. Inferno (HoMM 3 and 5)
3. Stronghold and Necropolis. (both HoMM 3)

I listen to the Heroes III music religiously on my iPod, so here's my top 3.
1. Fortress. Simply epic. The full orchestra combines to incredible effect.
2. Inferno Theme. Again, just incredibly...good, I don't have a better word.
3. Evil Theme- Great music, really sinister, just amazing.

H3 Tower and Dungeon themes are great!
From campaign themes i'd say 01/04/11.

Favorite theme:
Hmm... my favorite themes out of all Heroes game would have to be the Sorceress' and Wizard's castle from Heroes II. The music just fits the castles so well!

Well you could upload them on net if you want to share them but you can't link them here because it's illegal. I have all heroes installed on my computer but only Heroes 3 and 5 has the music files on game folders. It would be nice to hear H4 songs but it's not that big thing when i can search for them or unpack them myself if i liked to.
Just be grateful that you have all those songs isabelyes

I think the best song is h2 Barbarian Town - Price of Loyalty Version and second is Necromancer Town - POL version
In h3 Fortress, Necropolis, Dungeon is good and I think Conflux music is the worst in all towns.
By the way Snow Theme in h2 and h3 is good for me...

Necropolis 3 and 5
Inferno 5
Haven 5
Fortress
And the adventure map music is also great especialy the Homm 3 evil theme and Necro theme in Homm 5.

Heroes of Might and Magic: never played......yet
Heroes of Might and Magic II demo: I liked wizard town theme
Heroes of Might and Magic III: Inferno was pretty good, but Stronghold beats it.
Heroes of Might and Magic IV: i liked preserve town theme
Heroes of Might and Magic V: I can't decide between final credits and Haven siege theme 3
