Arch Devil; fast, no retilation, strong enough and not too expensive ... the perfect creature to hold a town or to keep enemies at bay while using the Berserk spell (which usually turns up in Inferno).

Wyvern is my favorite because they're awesome, but I think the best monster is the Azure Dragon.

3. Dread knight - Kickass badguy all the way
