Arra vagy kíváncsi, hogyan vihetsz be új grafikákat a H3-ba?
A legtöbb grafika, mint a portrék, a kastélyok épületei, hátterek, ezek pcx jelölésű bmp fájlokban vannak a lod fájlokban. Az egységek portréi, grafikái szintén bmp fájlok, azonban ezek def fájlokba vannak összefűzve. Új grafikákat nem tudsz beilleszteni, ha csak nem értesz a c++ és más programnyelvekhez, amikkel az exe fájlt át tudod kódolni. Csak kicserélni tudsz dolgokat, azaz egyező nevű fájlokat kell beimportálnod a lodokba.
Amire szükséged lesz: ResEdit, ezzel tudod kiszedni a lodból a neked kellő dolgokat. DefView, ezzel a def fájlokat tudod megnézni a kibányász után és ezzel tudod ezekből a képeket kiberhelni. Ezeket valamilyen rajzprogival szerkesztheted, de fontos, hogy 256 szín és a paletta első 10 színe kötött! A palettaszíneknek még utána kell néznem, de a legjobb szerkesztő hozzá a NeoPaint nevű program. Ha megvannak a képek, akkor a DefMakerrel tudod def fájlá gyúrni a dolgaidat, amiket már csak vissza kell tenni a lodba.
A szövegfájlokhoz TextEdit kell, de ezeket nem érdemes piszkálni, mert simán omlasztja a játékot és nehéz visszakeresni, mit szúrtál el.
Nos, a lodba való importálás a dolog lényege, ehhez kell egy program, egy exe, melyet azzá kell átnevezni, amit szerkeszteni akarsz (Pl.: ha a H3sprite.lod a célod, akkor H3sprite.exe amire átnevezed), ezután csinálsz egy bat fájlt, ami roppant egyszerű. NotePaddal csinálsz egy új fájlt, aztán átnevezed .bat-ra, ezt commanderben F4-el tudod majd szerkeszteni.
Amit bele kell írni, az a következő (a nagával példálozok):
H3sprite @cnaga.def
del cnaga.def

Hi everyone,
I am new on this Forum and I just began modding Heroes 3 Wog (and I enjoy doing it). I have already made a new town (replaced Conflux town with a town of Thieves and Naturalists) and changed some elements of the game altogether.
I've found this site with defs (some of them I already used)

I saw all of your ideas and I think that there actually isn't a bad idea in this topic. I think that criticism is not that important as a web page with all of them and then one can decide whether he likes a def or not.

How do you use these in-game? I guess they're not animated yet.

No they are fully animated.
You download them and then using resedit 2 you can replace these defs with the creature you want it to be.
For example I exchanged the Wolf from this page with the boar riders and renamed them (using ERM) to wargs(LOTR).

exactly! there are 183 pages and animated only few images...looks like that other ones are are concept only.

That's right, as the title says, "Possible creatures", not ready or new creatures. Just a place where people can put down their quick phantasms.
If they go further and animate, much better, but the thread is only about concepts.

I must warn you it's not much.
It actually is a personalization of the original Wog idea, (most of the creatures are left the same) but with a new twist. I figured a town of thieves (might heroes) and naturalists (magic heroes) might be a nice combination (Kinda a rogue - sorcerer town). Here are the creatures:
Pixies->Sprites (I always liked this addition to the heroes mythology)
Hobbits->Hobbit Burglars (Which is Halflings->Rogues. I am gonna change the rogues image to a smaller one so that it is a halfling-rogue)
Dire Wolves->Werewolves (The Dire wolves are not my creation I found it from the site of Defs and I thought that Werewolves are cool to keep and should be the effect of a wolf bite)
Sharpshooters->Night Prowlers (The late are Lava Sharpshooters but I renamed them for a more roguish touch)
Sorceress->Hierophants (I also found this in a site. I always thought that the Sorceress should have a female upgrade and so there it is)
Nomads->Desert Magi (Nomads are level 6 now and the Desert Magi will be actually the Hell Steeds Reanimated. I haven't completed it yet.)
Firebirds->Phoenix (I really liked them too so I kept them. Plus it adds more to the Naturalists touch)
I will also try to rename the buildings (Den of Thieves, Moon Temple are some ideas for Hobbits and Sorceress) but I do not know that much of ERM yet.

Because there's already a Black Dragon? If you can import creatures from H4, Waspwort or Mantis would be great, even Leprechaun or Satyr - something we don't have already. Unless the Blackie is for your Dark Elves mod?
