I agree with Ayreon:
In heroes there are many creatures from Greek Mythology: Titans, Hydras, Medusas, Minotaurs, Cyclopes to name a few. There are also many creatures from 1001 Nights such as Genies, Naga, Roc (Sinbad the Sailor Saga) and Norse and Celtic Mythology: Dwarves, Elves, Unicorns, Griffins.
I think what it lacks is creatures from Egyptian, Aztec and Chinese Mythology. It would be a nice addition (even as neutral monsters that can't be recruited in towns)

Thanks!
I thought of it last night. Since we are able to alter the creature dwellings, we could make the towns have the creatures from a specific mythological area. That means that there can be a 1001 nights town:
Rogues (Pirates-Sailors as an upgrade)
Nomads
Genies
Roc
Naga (Golden voyage of Sindbad: The 6 handed statue Kali)
Cyclopes (It's actually Greek Mythology but appears in the Sindbad's 7th voyage)
Phoenix (It is also Greek oriented but exists in 1001 nights)
And a Greek Mythology town:
Centaurs
Harpies
Pegasi
Medusa
Minotaur
Hymaeras (Kinda like a three headed Manticore)
Titans

Yeah well the only thing those Greek myth units have in common is that they're from the Greek myths. Nothing else. It's like putting Paul McCarthney in a band with Alexi Laiho, just because they're both musicians.

HoMM3 demons and christianity? Are you kidding me?
And buring people isn't Middle Age's tradition.

I know it isn't a creature but nowhere else to send so forgive me!

This is not a screenshot. This is a preview made by photoshop to see how will my new objects look on map (I made the defs but I can't write them in the txt so Gnollking do it for me Many thanks for this!).
The two nautilus-like things are new shipwrecks.
The big castle thing is a keep. Visiting player get 1000 gold\week (like the mills does).
The strange building called Cabal where you can hire black knights.
The three army things are dwellings where player can hire dwarves, wood elves and swordsmen. That was a really sudden idea of me

The Disciples city looks rather good. For the others, while I am open minded for any style of object, there are however limits on how far they can go in layout without seriously disturbing Heroes specific palette. I think those can't fit in, unless a lot of Photoshop corrections. If you get them in and find a proper surround area, then they can be reconsidered, but in the screen you choose they look out of game.
A few recent objects for Heroes:
Butterfly (by me)
King Arthur Excalibur (by me)
Magic Shrine (by Astaroth)
Ice Blacksmith (by Astaroth)
In all I would say that what we need is animated objects. We have one million not animated already, and all layouts possible. More animated, more life to the maps.

And you haven't seen the Kreegan laser-towers and the Ancients' buildings yet!
BTW you have right. This screen looks rather awfull and bad but I hope I'll can made the surrounding of these objects good enough... If not it will be another from my many failures...
And thanks! I forgot where was the keep got from! I used an old screenshot to "make" (better say cut) that keep from I loved that game so much...

Oh! I forget the main thing!
Sorry!
Some of my objects are animated but the problem is that I'm not very good in animating.
I'm an artist not an animator and my only animator program is the ImageReady which is sometimes crash...

So, they are all in the game, working? Not just photoshopped image?
I think these images of new buildings would have to be posted on E-J's Map Making thread.
