getting off topic here but...
yeah, food is expensive if you go to a tourist trap... up to 3 or 4 times the actual price...
I've only been to Corfu (or Kerkyra as we call it) two or three times so I don't know much about the beaches... Santorini on the other hand is great... especially for people in love

Pizza prices vary greatly. You can get cheap frozen ones for like 2 bucks. You can get Digorno Frozen Pizzas for like 4-10. YOu can order dominos which is about 5-10 for one pizza, you can order pizzia hut which has pizzas from about 8-18 dollars. Or you can get the best Pizza around Smokey Mountian Pizza, 15-25 for one Pizza, but its only in Idaho but if you ever come to Idaho I highly recommend it.
Overall people usually spend about 20 bucks on pizzas.

If your ever in Southern Virginia, I recommend Athens Pizza. Although I don't know where your moving, for all I know you could be out west in Illinois or something.

Oh christ, when did you post this? Um, erm, well, still planning on moving to um, Chicago anytime soon? Or did your visa application expire and you're now working in a Latvian gulag earning turnips for a wage all because I was a dumbass and never got back to you?

Actually, it's up to my wife. She is working as a GP here and is sick of Latvian gulags and earning turnips for a wage. She got decent GRE and TOEFL results, but not good enough for postgraduate studies at Ivy League. Oh, well - no regrets! Next year she's going to apply elsewhere.

University of Chicago is inarguably our most prestigious university. A fine second though is NorthWestern. There would be no shame or sense of being at a second rate institution should she end up there.
