...if u play against comp opponent u only need 7 dragflys (or even less) and an artillery and the Hags are dead.

This Is 1 way of acheiving the goal :)
I Couldn’t find Armour of the Damned so I replaced it with Armour of wonder, I think it would work without it too, too lazy to test - Here Goes, I chose Crag Hack to make it quicker:
Both Arch Devil + Grand Elves wait & Hags Advance:
Walk Grand Elves to the Yellow Square Above.
Hit the Hags With Arch Devils then advance to yellow square far right with Arch Devils.
Hags stand in between Grand Elves & Balista without attack.
Walk Grand Elves To the yellow square above hags.
Make Arch Devils wait again.
After hags have sat next to Grand Elves, move elves back to other yellow quare, hit with Arch Devils and return to far right yellow square.
After Hags have sat next to Grand Elves, walk Grand Elves back to previous yellow square (above Hags) hit with Arch Devils and return to far right yellow square. (make sure Arch Devils have waited before attacking hags).
Just Keep Repeating the process until hags are no more.
Well that’s 1 way
Note: If the Harpy Hags Morale At Anytime, you will suffer losses maybe even death depending on how many hags at the time

COOL man, you are the best.
Theres only 1 problem, he said HARPIES not HARPY HAGS...
so all your pictures are worthless, i think thats funny.
Also i dont think that chess dude was thinking about AB creatures like Sharpshooters, maybe you should try to figure it out with something that needs real thinking...

Well, seems I read the whole Question wrong 
But I prefered the fight with the Hags, as for just harpies, they just too dumb, easily led. 
Anyway, maybe someone will benefit from the pics, I'll just leave them there, Is that ok with you?

well theeverliving, i dont know if someone does NOT know the harpy hag trick, but its ok
Frank: Archdevils i dont think so, not vs the regular Harpies. They are too fast and you cant play the strike and go back game. You need shooters and obviously the Machine you need is the ammo Cart, everything else doesnt make much sense.

..Frank i thought u were called one of the best players around...which I DONT believe...and if u were then u would know that the shots of the balista can go to negative...which means balista has endless shoots (well at least more i would like to try out).

Dont try to tell others that u are "holier then the holy grail" and im a player who needs bugs, that simply doesnt work, cause every vet knows what U do when it comes to losing... well at least i had several bad experiences with u, so i should speak only for myself.

...lool..before i forget...if u really wish Frank then i can relink u the thread in which U described how U use this Hag bugs with Centaur and Elven, which is similar to the one with artillery, so common dont tell fairy tales here.

1) u tried to say that artillery only have 24 shoots and i prooved ur wrong.

Ehh TEL ,, u forgot that the Armor of the Damned has this as effect "All opponents have these spells effective on them for fifty turns: Slow, Disrupting Ray, Curse, Weakness, and Misfortune"!@

Come on peeps, this is easy!!!
Give me enough dendroids with Ryland so they can take one shot from the harpies without dying, give me the rest of my remain HP in grand elves, and an ammo cart. Harpies attack dendriods, dendroids retal, harpies jump back and are stuck to the ground, move grands to full arrow, and spend the next 3 hours shooting the harpies. They won't ever come unstuck. lol

I didn`t even know about that bug xarfax... You surely didn`t learn it from me.
The tactic I was thinking about was to let one tile oppened next to your archers when you are fighting against hags...

funny guy chubby, your grand elves are cursed and wont do enough damage if you buy dendroids because they cost too many hitpoints...
200 harpies kill off an average of at least 6 Dendros per turn...

took me a long time to read you people's replies and i did some tests as well. MIDNITE'S solution certainly worked MUCH better than i thought it would. other people also have some brilliant thoughts, nice try guys. due to the fact that my expected answer hasn't been FULLY mentioned by anybody yet i would like to ban all the SOD (almost had a typo here) heroes&creatures, leaving only the 16*9=144 heroes and 14*9=126 creatures from the 9 different castles for you guys to pick.
