answers are now being announced
You guys were really awesome and any thinking you did about this problem is much appreciated.
ok folks here are the solutions
1) MIDNIGHT is really smart on this one. he divides the fast troops to delay the harpies attack on the main stack of sharpshooters so that in the first 7 rounds those shooters can shoot like crazy. also due to sir mullich’s advanced leadership the shooters’ morale is +3!. And the final version of this solution (morale not being considered here) would be 39 sharpshooters plus 6 single sprites, one ballista, all given to mullich. After killing the 6 single sprites, the computer will fly the harpies right beside your sharpshooters but WON’T attack, and all you need to do is have the shooters running around till the ballista finally does the killing job. HP total=603. well done midnight!
2) actually this is the one I was looking for but only chubby mentioned it a bit no one else even paid attention to this BUG this time.
Hero, TAZAR
Troops, one single stack of 11 DENDROID SOLDIERS.
War Machine, BALLISTA.
HP total=715.
I don’t think further explanation is needed.

I thought the trees bind for only 3 rounds? its forever? And besides, wont the harpies go bside the ballistia and kill it first?

As far as i know, the armour of the damned wont do aything if somebody has the Red orb equipped, or at least it shouldnt. Is this another bug in the game?

Yeah Cas
the binding lasts until the stack of dendriods are dead or they move away from what they binded, hence why I love the.
Reason this is considered a bug in my opinion is because with the harpies, they don't get binded to the ground next to the dendriods, they jump back to their original spot first and then the binding takes place. On top of that, the dendriods can move around the battle field and the harpies are still stuck in place. And like I said, with everything else except the harpies, as soon as the dendroids move, the target stack comes unstuck, even if you do move but stay next to them. Harpies are the stupidest creatures in the game. lol
Just another 3doh. Its really not that big of a deal though. By the time you have 11 dendriods, you should have enough army to beat the harpies other ways. 200 harpies week 2 isn't that big of a deal really (at least in my opinion.)
What I do think is a big deal, and something I have done once to Veldarian and will never do again because I truely did fele bad for doing it afterwards is the combination of spell casting combo arts + the red orb. According to the manuel, the spells are cast at the "begining of combat", well the begining is still during and the red orb should cancel them out imo.
But none the less, cool post.

Which brings me to the question..
If the trees go and hit the harpies. then move away. Will the harpies still b binded?

everything is obvious after u have been told it
I agree with archie, i'm sure there is another combo without sharpshooters that would work. I was just waiting for other ppl to find those obvious solutions
