Just so you guys know, I'm going to be away for a couple days (mandatory Christmas visit to Grandma's). Shouldn't be too long, but you can auto my char more than normal if you need too.

Guys, it's quite clear that this thread has slowed considerably, and I, along with several others, believe it's because this Forsaken War has been dragged out for too long. Let's all forget about the meeting and just try and end this chapter of the tale as quickly as possible so that we can move on to another, hopefully more successful, era of LHW.
Also, we can easily accept newcomers without the fear of finishing our summary once this war has ended, so let's make it snappy, capeche?

I have some input if I may.
I know how quickly you all want to get past this thing and get back to the goofy crap but can we try to let it go in style. At one point it was a good storyline that everyone was into.
So we forget the meeting but how about this:
Mighty Mage recovers the last crystal which I will more than gladly hurry along. The others catch up with him. By this time the Forsaken Ones are laying waste to all the surrounding areas, the dead are rising, demons lurk in every corner, Deimos gets killed, Big fight, ka-bam, back into the Master Emerald, seal the door back up, keep our respective crystals, Deimos dies, and go on our seperate ways.
What do you think?

Though I think many wouldn't exactly like this idea, here's my input anyway.
To be perfectly honest I think this should have been done right from the get go. It should have happened right away once things started to get confusing.
I say we delete everything back to where everyone had no clue what was going on. In other words, delete everything back to where Deimos claimed himself heir to Grathemel including that post. Everything got extremely confusing, because people started posting their own thing, without making sure it fit with the storyline. Then after everyone was confused, everyone started just posting whatever making things ten times worse. I think if we just took a completely different direction, forgetting everything that's happened from that point, the thread would be much better off that way. If we decided to do something similar, then so be it.
If we are against deleting what we have, then we can just leave what is there and pick up from whatever point I just talked about. Because I believe that point in time was the very meltdown of this thread. Now I feel like there is no excitement. There is just the neverending grinding of trying to revive this thread.

I'm not up for deleting everything back to that point, but I am getting near that point in my cleaning of the thread. By the time I reach that point, I'm sure we'll have something figured out, but deleting everything isn't the answer. Some storylines are unrelated, and others contain good story-based details, such as Dean's "rebirth".
I think that only the posts which make outrageous claims or involve some outrageous or confusing event or dialogue should be deleted, and sense can be made of the rest.

I think that after Mighty finds the crystal, the Forsaken Ones attack and are killed. THE END OF THE FORSAKEN ONES.

No, I think the confusion should be cleared up before anyone posts anymore in LHW. We can't end this war unless we know what leads up to that ending.
I was thinking that each of us could auto a Forsaken One along with our own characters, that way, if we have nothing to post as one, we could do something as the other.

Deletion is fine with me.
It means we might end the mess sooner.
The 're-birth' story was an attempt to end it, but I lost interest even with that.
I will follow the consensus on this issue.

Ok how about this
My character and the three remaining horsemen (Pestilence, War, and Death) reappear (Im supposing you all are in one group.) By then, you four have found all the crystals. Pestilence and War are finished off rather easy. Death puts up an honorable attempt, but is finished off in the same way, by being overpowered with the crystal.
Then my main character, the Unholy one, begins to implode from the inside, without even being touched he just implodes. But then reeapppears in a much larger, powerful form. We RP a large scale battle for a couple of posts, i die. When i die, i explode in one final mass of darkness, killing all the forsaken ones at once.

I don't really like that idea. Sounds a bit contrived and I don't think deciding how to end this thread is a good idea. I see no point in giving a quick fix ending to such a long thread, because the last 4 or 5 pages are confusing in a few places.
I say we start over from the page 44 where everyone arrives in the Shroomerish Forest. We already have a great base of previous writings to work with. It's been said by countless authors that rewriting something is only going to make it better. We can keep the last few pages as a reference, meaning to not delete it. We simply begin posting from the point where I think the mass confusion occured and just ignore the last few pages. The parts that we like we can keep, like for example, I like Asmodean's story about turning into the Dragon etc... And I like the stuff about the Jub-Jubs and I'll also want to keep the dual post that Shadowcaster and I made together. So rather than one person going back and fixing everything and telling everyone else what happened. Everyone can get a chance to rewrite the parts that were confusing.

That's not a bad idea but with my shorter ammount of time I don't think I would want to re-write everything I already posted. However, if we start deleting, (which I'll have to discuss with Shadow) What I can do is maybe elaborate on the posts I have and fix any plotholes. Perhaps this idea would be easier for everyone else. RSF has already stated what his problem was with Deimos' post, so how bout we fix it. You guys have a problem with somthing I wrote, maybe somthing you're confused about? I'll fix it. Now I know how much RSF loves writing and one day I'll probably see his stuff on sale in Barns and Noble but I just can't see myself starting that far back and re-writing.
So what do you say?
